Well I have to admit this crepe recipe is good, Really great as a matter of fact. My recipe is the same, I just left my batter in fridge over night. That was a pain in the butt. No spontainious HONEY HOW ABOUT ASPERIGUS AND HAM CREPES on sunday morning. This works great. Now for My oil in the pan, I use a spray pump and bottle. Use it over the sink 3 pumps and return to the heat. You have saved me 24 hours think time my friends
i made these crepe's TWICE using your recipe, both times they came out amazing! I'll always have and use this recipe, thank you! Come back and make more videos!

The wife must go nuts every time this guy cooks. I can already see it. "Honey, I made crepes and pancakes" -"OMG! U so sweet!". She goes in the kitchen and then.. "Sweet Jesus! What happened to my kitchen?!!!" while the dog licks off the splattered batter on the floor.
AAAAARRRGHHH!!!I sooo HATE that metal on metal sound when u scratch with fork...thats why i only use plastic dishes...well not all the time...but most.
if you want fluffy pancakes, separate the egg yolk and the whites. mix in the yolk with the batter and beat the eggs whites until there are peaks. fold it into the batter.
guys make sure you mix wet well and mix dry well before you mix wet and dry together because over mixing wet/dry together produces gluten making tough pancakes/crepes
I'm presuming all-purpose flour was used for this recipe, but do you think cake flour would make a discernable difference in either method? What about sifting the flour beforehand?
Well, Cake flour has supposedly less protein and finer wheat grains but you need to put in a little more in your recipe than with all-purpose flour. I've never tried it. Maybe you could and tell us how it went. Thanks for watching Josh.
I thought perhaps sifted cake flour might make for a more delicate, lighter crepe. I really don't have any culinary experience upon which to base that, just my guess. And totally! Thanks for putting up these cool vids! You boys rock.
Thumbs up if you were cheesin when he pulled out the manual mixer

ballg 4 years ago
ew why do you put it in the oven
ImWatchingToo 4 years ago
I'll guess to keep it warm, or if not that, then to slowly cook it in the oven after it's been in the frying pan.
Kain292 4 years ago
it keeps it warm, i think its on a towel or napkin. im sure he didn't put it directly on the rack. although it looked like he did :-)
ballg 4 years ago
You can also put a long sheet of foil on a large plate and fold over half of the foil over the cooked crepes to keep them warm. That's how I do it.
andreajo1983 4 years ago
why do u make a whole in the middle when mixing the crepe batter? does it mix faster or something?

it is not pronounced cr-ape
it's pronounced c-rep
it is spelled and pronounced the same way. Crepe
for those of you who don't know the french language
njvampire667 4 years ago
people call it "crape" anyway. sure it is crep but its just one of those words that everyone is gonna pronounce wrong.
