  • Morels Mushrooms are found in North America South America, Europe, Russia, China Turkey and India. No one to date has commercially grown Morel Mushrooms. Can you get some spores to take hold in your backyard? Yes but it is hit or miss. Morchella depend on specific host trees. The reason the sell for so much $ is because you Can Not cultivate them. People that harvest Morels for profit typically hunt burn sites (after forest fires) out in the wilds of the Northwestern US. It's hard dirty work.

  • Yup, I have a Reef tank, I make good cash off extra coral.

anole lizards are fun also. But all in all, its due to how well you can recreate its environment for about anything. I find alot of out door Morel Mushroom kits, but where is a indoor kit ? I can just about recreate any environment in a tank, why has no one tried it.

  • haaa ha -you talk with your hands---that's cool!

  • @cycosteve2006 haha yeah I've realized that since I've been making videos. Lol

  • Macaw are big and they like biting fingers, did i mention they are big, so you can lose a finger... i like regular parrots like african greys or yellow neck's, they live for over 100 years and they sell for a lot of money as well, they can become hand tame and learn to talk, did i mention they can live for over 100 years, in other words if you buy a young parrot the odds are it will longer than you do js

  • Katie! Thanks for the shout out! Avoid petting sharks, they will jump at ya!

  • I found a whole bunch of mushrooms growing all throughout a house that had been flooded. Maybe I can sell those.

  • I love morels!!! We find them on our property here in Minnesota. They don't usually make it to market though. YUM. Our cousin grew mushrooms for the restaurant business----needed to keep basement damp--didn't work too well but go for it. Be sure you have enough time to breed animals if you choose to do that.

  • ---------You should Do a shout-out to me for being the best picker in Las Vegas!!!!! Thx you rock!!.......And it sounds like your laptop needs a new battery or a new power cord!!---

  • You had me at grow mushrooms and made me fall in love with the length of the video being 4:20 :-p lol

I'm growing some extra veggies this year and will try to sell them with the rest of my wares at the flea market! Put cucumbers in a cooler full of ice water on a hot, hot summer day and people will pay money just to fish them out of the cooler :-D

  • @itsDJR I like salt with cucumbers. They taste so good!

  • @katiemariepatton You bet! A little ranch dip does hurt either and I hate ranch! :)

  • People here in Iowa love those mushrooms, too. Yuck, I HATE mushrooms....BUT those suckers sell like crazy. You don't even just have to sell them online - just sell them from your driveway. However, BOOOOO to breeding animals for profit when there are so many animals already out there who need good homes!!!

  • To keep a good laptop battery, you have to start with a new one, and you have to let it discharge like every day, or every other day because otherwise, (most) rechargeable batteries develop a "memory range" of charge, and to get past that you have to hit it with like 12v—I don't remember just how high of a voltage blast—but you can read on YT, . . .

  • @phillipgaley That's probably what happened to mine over a period of 3 years. I never really used it without the charger. Thanks for the info! :)

  • You probably need the power jack on your motherboard replaced, or a new battery. I had the same problem and it was the power jack.

  • Katie, you are wise beyond your years girl!

I live in SW Michigan and we get Morels here too. I LOVE hunting them but don't eat them lol

they do go for a million dollars a pound! lol its crazy!

keep learning everything you can. You are a smart girl!

  • @glamtownvintage Thanks! I didn't expect mushrooms that grow in my backyard to be worth so much! I love learning new things!

  • I live in a huge mushroom area and they grow them year round inside if im not mistaken. May be something to look into. Thanks Katie!
