@chingonm1 The 80's had a lot of variety. What is sad is that you don't hear a lot of the stuff, anymore. You mostly get the mainstream hits and after a while, that gets old. Another thing about the 80's is that every year the kids were wearing something completely different. That wasn't so great for the poor kids, but it still made for an interesting walk through the mall.
@jdtheknockout I have the entire induction. It is the clip we just saw and then they played two songs. "Burning Down The House" and "Life During Wartime". They also played "Psycho Killer" but that was NOT broadcast. So basically odds are you saw the whole thing. The two videos they played are on YouTube.
The museum is very overated to me,because there's alot of artists that deserve like the Heads, but many that don't and lots still do,Hey have you read Rolling stone's about the greatest of all time, ridiuclous,I'm glad I don't subscribe to them,so many artists weren't ranked the right way and many of them don't even belong there, how could you forget them, when they are very influential band and have 2 of the greatests concert films I've ever seen, does Rolling stone actually owned the museum?
@royalnash Oh yeah im only 12 and i've been listening to them since the day i was born. By the way i'm dying for a talking heads reunion tour PLEASE GOD!!!!!!!!!!!
@royalnash I didn't really understand why the age factor played a part, however I don't really think that recognizing their talent is a sufficient way to describe Talking Heads.
I recently met Tina and Chris at a Tom Tom Club show. a BIG treat. They couldn't have been nicer.
Dear David Byrne: Just give in and reunite already!!!!

I went to the cinema screening of Byrne's Ride, Rise, Roar. I was the youngest person in the cinema by about 30 years. What happened to music?

@chingonm1 But then, we talked about the 60's the way you're talking about the 80's. ; ) The 60's were pretty wild, too.

Its amazing how egos can create such downfalls to somthing great. At the end of the day with rock music its all ego.

Who is narrating the video...the voice sounds familiar? Thanks for the help.
