this is NOT applicable for airsoft at all. This is very much applicable for real CQB warfare, but theres a huge difference between real and airsoft, that many ppl oversee and think that all real tactics must work and are best in airsoft aswell.
The ones actually opening the door did a poor job of protecting themselves. The one opening the door stood right in front of it. He would've been nailed straight through the crack in the door. The other men entering the room didn't stay in their sectors. The 2nd or 3rd man should've immediately turned right and stayed in that direction. 2nd entry was perfect, except for the bad muzzle control for the guy in the back.
The Second man Kills Half of hes whole team,WHY? you ask? Because instead of going oposite of the first man , he walks towards the first man while he restrains the subject and takes a huge pause to look at him while the enemy could be to the side of him shooting in between his Kevlar vest and LBV.Also whats with the last guy by the door at the end? There are missing one more Soldier, the are missing the one that tells the guy outside to go in by taping his shoulder saying LAST MAN!
Four of your guys in the video could have been hit really easy since they didn't check the left side at :20. If you have good training and a good plan four men can clear a whole house. Again at :24 there is a corner that isn't being watched. Those two errors could cost your whole team for 1 prisoner and possibly 1 EKIA.
Long weapons do not have to be pointed upwards in a stack. Anyone who says there is only one way to do something is generally incorrect. Do you point your handguns up? I would hope you would be in some sort of sule position. Why change just because you are carrying a rifle or subgun? As far as if someone grabs your weapon on entry you train for that to happen no matter how you carry your weapon. And one of the easiest ways to take care of that issue is to transition to pistol and put 3 in the b
*Muzzles should always be pointed "up" in the stack, never towards the ground. When you breach the door if your muzzle is down and the bad guy grabs it on the way up, it's a hell of a lot HARDER to try and force your weapon vertical then it is to force it down should a bad guy grab it this way (if your muzzle is coming down you can jam your hand on the rail & force it down sending 1 through bad guys dome or u can always just ram your muzzle thru his forehead. Now that's Tier 1 Breaching...
Not only should the 2nd man have gone right since 1 has the gunman...when the 2nd guy does go right he should take a quick look back over his shoulder making sure that behind the door is clear....that's where most guys get ended! Room looks all clear...then the "bad guy" behind the door ends everyone on the team. If anyone is watching this CQC vid for training....DON'T! lol
@chowa4 it's a physical count. 1-2-3. You don't have to talk or make noise, and you don't have to see the TL's hand. If everyone does it right everybody in the stack can feel it - and they move on the third bob.
BOOM. Guy nr.2 should have cleared the right side. If there was a guy/hostile on the right side of the room so would he be able to shoot at least 3 of them.
Totally fucked that all up, first man did good second man.... WHY THE FUCK WERNT YOU CHECKING YOUR CORNOR DUMBASS BAM BAM BAM YOUR ALL DEAD GOOD JOB TURD!!!!!!!!!!! FUCKING BOOT!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, the person who is the breacher should be on the left side of the knob, outside of the doorframe. Also, the guy with the distrction device should be the second man in your stack. The breacher opens the door, second man with the bang tosses the bang in, then your team enters. Is this supposed to be realistic. If so, your tactics are laughable. LMFAO The tactics which I have said, is basic SWAT 101. I don't know what tactics school you attended.
@afrolatino380 that depends on who's tactics you are referring to and what tools you are using. And since we're simulating a breach and not actually breaking the door, for the purposes of this video somebody has to turn the knob. duh.
@afrolatino380 In the first shot, that's not the breacher, that's the first man in, we follow our flashbangs in. In the second shot, the breacher was to peel back and pull long axis security but the camera man (me) was standing in the way :)
Why do you need full combat gear for airsoft? I see tactical combat gear, but it's completely useless. Trying to look cool? I mean, I can take an airsoft pellet bare skin, it doesn't hurt.
@junakis666 why not shoot it? They have all of that protective equipment. A little bb bouncing back isn't going to hurt anybody. How else would you simulate breach? Yell BANG? That's not very exciting.
That was the gayest thing i have ever seen. Pretty sure if I was in the room being breached I would have killed the first 3 guys who walked in front of that door no problem.
This is not supposed to be an end-all be-all boast video about our elite skills. It's here for demonstration for teams who competed in an Airsoft event. You gotta learn to walk before you can run.
@airsoftpacific if your gonna do it might as well do it right. train how you will fight. why risk it because you learned it a fucked up way and got urself killed.....
ok thats cool but seriously shooting the door with a shotgun? whats that gonna do, bounce back and hit you in the balls, i know its for realism but is it really neccesary?
Why not? If everyone is wearing protective gear, may as well. But sometimes, if we are doing a simulated breach we won't require the players to load the shotgun, they just dry-fire it.
you could also just use what i know as the boom-rule.
its for players for too high powered guns for cqb (e.g. co2-airsofts). if the player gets a clear line of fire he can just say "boom" instead of shooting.
but this works only if the distances are small enough that you could assume that every shot is a hit. malfunctions of a gun shall never be compensated by saying "boom" ofcourse.
btw: ever thought of the use of training-knives? maybe an interesting addition...
Good movement and tactics guys. Just make sure to check your corners. The entire team went in and the corner to the screen's left was never checked visually. The second man in should have but he was drawn to the target.
That was a poor entry, the second man in should be focusing on his right not at the gunman thats what the first guy does, and the rest of the guns come in and look at him too when they should be covering there corners!
@stevieb2012 Agreed. Not to be a video hater, but damn, the guy is supposed to cover the right side at all times whether or not the one on the left is taking another guy out. There is a thing in a squad called "trust".
@stevieb2012 haha, i know what you mean... s.w.a.t tactics states....NO MATTER WHAT! you have to take to your corners because the person whom has to take care of the corner the enemy is at will take care of it, while you cover your areas just incase there is a hidden enemy that can kill you....
Lastly, i notice that everyone was focusing on that 1 guy in the chair. After that threat is eliminated, the remainder of the team needs to immediately be covering the rest of the room. For a few seconds I noticed that the rest of the room wasn't covered for close to 2 seconds, that is a problem. BTW I hope that EO Tech and the rest of your optics are copies and not actual. That would get expensive. Anyways those are just some tips, good job and keep it up.
Just another thing I would do, is slam the door open and pin it. Sometimes you'll have someone stand behind it, so slam them in there, and after the rest of the room is clear, deal with them. Also instead of saying "Get on the ground, get on the ground, get on the ground" it would probably be easier just to say "GET DOWN GET DOWN GET DOWN GET DOWN!" thats what we say.
Hey nice video. Make sure you check those corners, and how many men teams are you using? 6? That seems like a lot for rooms of that size. The most we use is 4-5 and if its a "short room" we go in with 2. Go in with too many and youll be in each other's way.
One big thing I see, that really irritates me, is that the guy opening the door is standing right in the middle of the doorway. Thats like a day one mistake. He is a sitting duck there. He needs to use the wall/door for cover/concealment.
Thanks for the great feedback, I appreciate it. I did notice he was standing directly in front of the door on this take, unfortunately I didn't have a better one to go with.
