  • starting CCNA :)

  • meh not as good as googles office

  • Im HAPPY HERE IN FAIRCHILD SEMICONDUCTOR! we are the predecessor of INTEL AND AMD....ciao!

  • Cisco exaggerate itself tooooo much. They have not contributed to information technology that much.

Cisco is just A company that works on Networking.

  • @kawaikatuki Are you kidding? When you get to study networking in depth you see that 80% of the innovations are first made by Cisco, and only after several years ratified by IEEE or any other stardards organization. When they need something done, they just develop it and that is really cool.

Of course you have a point, in ads they will exaggerate (every company does), but they're not just any company! I wanna work for them one day.

  • I'm in high school just finished my first class of cisco and now in GIS (making maps) not my favorite subject in it so far but its still a pretty good program... oh yea and i play xbox live too :)

  • fuck cisco!

  • OK, Cisco you've sold me! How about giving me a job. I'm a CCNA with seven years of experience. Where do I send me resume?

  • So the fat prick at 1:23 is one of the guys sending advertisements to your Xbox 360 when your online hey and also tell you that you need to update the Xbox NOT the game so that you can play it with more fucking adds!.

Yeah, real fucking cool you fuck wit!

  • You have no idea.

The guy simply means that it is Cisco equipment connecting the internet together, enabling his friends, and yourslef to play online.

  • Thanks for the clarification :)

  • I wonder how much time it takes to get 3 or more Expert level Cisco Certifications. It must be real hard to go through it all.

  • awesome, soon I'll have my ccna finished, ccnp wait for me, I'm coming! :D

  • Not many negative responses here, I've just started a networking degree, is working for Cisco something to aspire to?

  • I was there for almost 6 years before moving to a different part of CA. It is a great company, especially if you are into networking.

  • Uhmmmmm .... YEP!

  • This was the video I was shown in my college before I was recruited :) I was awestruck by it.. Now that I have started working in Cisco, I am all the more excited. I must say the work culture is amazing. If you are good at what you do and willing to learn a lot, Cisco is the place for you!!!

  • Yes, definitely a learning environment. What BU are you in? I was in Software.

  • does anyone know what steve behm did in cisco systems ?

  • continued*

Ask about all the insecurities that you're concerned about etc. and put up all of your queries in front of them.

Decide your study course carefully cos it's the first step towards professional life and in deciding your career.

    All the best! :-)

  • Hey. There are alot of computer or IT related disciplines that you can go for.

Software engineering, Bachelors Computer science = programming/related to softwares

Computer engineering = related to hardwares

    Telecom engineering

    IT etc. etc.

    **

Kindly ask other people like IT professionals, teachers etc. about them. Tell them your exact place of interest in computers and discuss it with them.

  • If I like network security, can study information systems ?

  • Sure.

  • just be prepared to work your ass off... or they will dump you on the trash heap. been there, done that

  • yep, my friend works there and its a body wrecking job.

  • I take the Cisco Academy Class in my local High School. It is very challenging. Its a College course so you have to know Computers and Networking inside and out.

  • i feel like working for cisco now.

  • is cisco hard to learn please reply

  • Could anybody please let me know if CISCO is acting in Azerbaijan Republic ? Thanx.

  • i have a business management degree and i worked for a few years, now im 30 and i finishes studying ccna and hoping to pass my certification,im just afraid it is too late for me to start a career in networking

  • Nothing is too late! There's lots of people, even inside cisco who started late. It's not the "Age" that matters, its the "Attitude" !

  • I will be happy if ill be given a chance to work in this field after certification,im really studying so hard

  • @usadanu It's not the "Age" that matters, its the "Attitude" !.. Great phrase!

  • @lipylicious Never is late my friend!!! I´m studing an IT Engineering. Good Luck! and never go back!

  • My dream is to work with Cisco. If that can happen before I'm 30, I'll be very very happy.

  • Well i am 21 and i am working for them now, so why are you so interested to work for them?

  • hi- I'm Computer Science student from Azerbaijan Republic studying in Portugal. If possibly let me know more about CISCO - does it really worth to get a job there. Thanx

  • well yeah, its worth it. They have a got opportunities available there

  • I work for cisco, whohohoho

  • hw much do get paid if u dnt mind me askin and wat do u do therr

  • 2mins 24sec: "There are the guys that invented it". The first router was created by one man for his local University, then Cisco used it to start a business. Same story as Microsoft.

  • Oh Andrews, you came and you tought me about CISCO, and now i can work in currys!

  • epically? seargenty andrews was beastly.

  • Yes. She is. She made me... I don't know how to say it...

    FAIL

  • is a bus driver

  • :( Thirwall

  • I LOVE YOU MR ANDREWS!!!

  • CISCO MY DISCO!!

  • I love you cisco

  • cisco è uno sfigato

  • Do you have to travel a lot over seas if you work for Cisco or does that depend on what your job there is?

  • Before i came to CISCO every day i had dreams bout it everyday and now after 5 years of work in CISCO its just another normal routine! :)

But damn, i'm proud to be an CISCO Employer!

  • My ccna class start tomorrow :D, just hope my motivation to learn can keep up until the end.

  • damn i love this company

  • so.. who cares?

  • me too!

  • im learning it this year in high school too! just had 2 lessons on it

  • i just start with my cisco cnna i love it, it's hard but it's worth it. Now i start to understand lot thing and mechanism i just use to talk about it

  • I will have to say you should definately take a look at Testout if your studying for CCNA/ or your CCNP. Helped loads for studying for my certification tests. Gained 15 credit hours towards my networking engineering degree and a very lucrative job at Eli Lilly's

  • ccna could be intimadating at first but once you get the hang of it sure is a breeze

iam at cisco 3 now this clip made me want to finish it now, lol

  • CCNA is hard, im not gonna lie, but it is worth it. I'm learning alot and i cant wait to get a job with my certification.

  • If all you have is a CCNA your job hunt will be a frustrating one.

  • i want to be a part of the human network

  • i love cisco system

  • I don't know if this will help to motivate you, I hope it does. Aside from the tales of enormous salaries that Cisco certified professionals earn, I'm motivated to get my certification because being a part of Cisco is perhaps synonymous with being a part of lifeblood of the Internet. All the cool technologies are dependent on the Internet, i-pods, i-phones, file sharing, streaming video (like this clip).

  • Our network is powered by Cisco routers, Cisco switches and Cisco IP phones. :-)

  • I love Cisco too, thanks for everything!

  • I love you cisco

  • Very well done; good diversity of spokespersons; well thought out; excellent delivery
