  • Extraordinario.talento y ejemplo para muchos ,felicitaciones siempre miro este video y no me canso de verlo.

  • Thanks for posting. ..it is excellent.

  • in my honest opinion, i think that she has great technique since she shows great intonation and perfect bow movement. The only thing i can say is that she might want to go back and try to get to know this song a little more, because it seems like she rushed a phrase in the beginning and made miniscule musical mistake during the whole piece. But that is such a small criteria that i have to say that this is a beautiful performance. Bravo!!!!!

  • you're better than me on the violin and i'm 15 years old hahahah!!!

    you're amazing!!

  • u r not 15 !!! WTH

  • AMAZING!!!!

  • sounds so good but what would make it sound better is if she had an orchestra to go along with it

  • oh my goodness.

this is one of my favourite pieces for violin.

and other than the harmonics, i am completely speechless.

    wow. O:

  • the harmonics was okay

  • don't tell me she is only 10!!

  • Absolutly amazing job!! Incredible only things I would have to say is harmonics were alittle off and there could of been alittle more emotion but afterall you were only 10. Truely it was great to see though.

  • 7:54 WOW..

  • Dear god. How can you be so talented at only ten!!! HOW!!! I am so jealous.

  • She is so talented. Your parent must be so proud. Thanks for sharing your video.

  • She Exicuted the Allegro Vivo better than almost every adult i heard play this peice! Bravo!

  • amazing

  • stfu

  • BRAVO!

I think she will play with more feelings as she grows older and with more experience in life...

  • BRAVO!

I think she will play with more feelings as she grows older and with more experience in life...

  • Just loved it!

    Bravo!

  • you are very talented!

  • Better than Valerie Kim :)

  • hahah yeah!!! like the sea symphony

  • no pleasure dome of kublai kahn lmao!

  • wow the person below me is completely correct. seriously if you had a phd in music you wouldn't be calling the zigeunerweisen a song dumbass. and to the person below me, i can't wait to play it !!!!! and meditation, and pines of rome lol

  • zigeunerweisen is my favoriteeeee =] pines of rome can suck it. ahhaaaa

  • holy crap!!! shes GOOD! i really want to play this piece and i luv it. this girl just beat the adults!!!^_~

  • damn i thought i was cool to play this piece in the age of 12, but this girl! DAMN!

    She even beat the alduts!

  • She plays piano too? Geez! These .... kids are too much! Too bad most of them never go into the profession.

  • in fact, all the notes are there (scuse me for the english, i'm french). Yes so all is okay but for me, that's not gypsy at all and this is what's making the difference between a zigeurweisen and a fabulous zigeurneweisen. The indications like rall. rit, accel, and the piano and forte are not respected.

That's a good beginning for her age and she had a good futur in fact cuz it's tough to play that at this age.

  • 0:58 with that pizzicato. HOLY COW!

    you go girl!

  • Perfect.

  • MY GOOOD....NOW YOU're SO GOOD....very gifted on music this girl

  • Bravissima, Gabrielle! :)

  • nice playing but the piece is way too hard for her. she is a much better pianist. i hope she sticks with piano, but since there are no jobs for any pianist these days i hope she chooses to pursue another avenue altogether. but her piano playing is superb.

  • goodguy; why u say "way too hard for her".

way so hard for me and u but not for her. she did very well, no mistake, near perfect trill and double stops, smooth and comfortable tempo, nothing wrong, even dress beautiful. do u pick anything wrong in technic?, emotion and passion will be developed with age. i enjoyed it. seems like she enjoyed it too, may be too easy for her.

  • i think that to learn this at her age is great! you can always build on mistakes!! pls the fact not her fault what her teacher gives her to play is it??

  • I don't think you should confuse her skill level with her age. Just because she is 10 does not mean the song is too hard for her. I'll bet she can play this piece a lot better than some adults.

  • for a person with a phd in music your incredibly stupid. i also don't think a professional would start a comment with "lol". And yes i play the violin and i don't "hear" what your talking about. U wish you can play that when you're ten.

  • okay, if the only legitimate thing you have to say about her not having "tecnique" (TECHNIQUE TYVM) is that she "needs to work on her intonation" then that is pathetic back-up. i think her technique is there. without a strong technique you would NOT be able to play this piece this well. i think her intonation is fine overall.

  • she plays better than you so I wouldn't talk. Upload yourself playing this song

  • it's not a song, it's a PIECE. Songs are set to words. Please don't criticize others when you yourself are a dumbass.

  • um i never said this was a song -_____- and p.s. songs don't need to have words. it's not like i was criticizing anyone important. Only you. I'm 99.99% percent sure this girl is alot better than you. :DDDDDDDDDD TTFN

  • ARE YOU HAO?!1/1/

  • Very talented!

  • She is very talented at the violin, the piano, and at composition!

Also, I share the same opinion as violinjim.

  • She should be on "From the Top" with Christopher O'Reilly

  • OMG!!! soooooo good!

  • i wish i could play like this :D

  • lol the sponge shoulder rest!!!

  • actually, the sponge shoulder rest is becoming quite popular. I have not tried one yet but I will.

  • I still prefer no shoulder rest.

  • I keep trying to play without a shoulder rest but I find shifting and vibrato to be quite difficult without a shoulder rest. I guess it requires some modification of technique.

  • DOLGA PESEMJE

  • oh my gosh, one of my friends that could have gone to julliard (but goes to princeton instead) performed this number for her senior solo in high school when she was 18, this is crazy!!

  • Mastering 2 instruments ... Amazing

  • My father was a pianist, mother violinist, brother classical guitarist. They MADE me play their instruments EVERY day since I was about 4yrs old. I did NOT like that kinda discipline much. Now I look back and realize that I was thankful to get free lessons :)

  • Totally agreing with you, those kids are so much push over to get what their parents want's to. Each person should be free to do what they want and should decide what they want to do.

  • wow shes sooo talented... visit her website.. she also composes!

  • Great job, Gabrielle!

  • love the dress ^^

    (( and the music f cours , shes mini mozart ! ))

  • this piece seems to be quite popular amoung small kids. i think it's quite fun especially near the end

  • AWESOME

I suck compared to her. :)=

  • That was AMAZING. You really need a better violin!!! =D

  • I myself have transposed the end of the piece to make it easier. And i did notice a few flaws in the arrangement. There is a rest missing. However THAT WAS AMAZING!!!!

  • :O !!

  • good performance.. someone mentioned its 'boring to watch'.. in her defence.. she's so young.. her technique is amazing.. with age.. experience and education.. she'll come to understand the music she's playing.. then the performance will reflect that too

  • She's VERY good and has tons of talent. I noticed that her bow hand was a bit stiff, though.

  • Thanks for your advice. She has been working on it, it's a good challenge.

  • Gabrielle is now 12 too and she has an OK full size violin which is much better the 3/4 size in the video. 3/4 never sounds good enough, except the one used by Sarah Chang. We're looking for a really fine violin, but it could be life-long project. But again, it's probably easier to find a professional violin than to play it like a professional.

  • @KidMusician or you could get a custom made violin :)

  • This is just amazing for a 10 year old.....i'm 12 and i still play the sarasate a little off intonation at some spots.

i would say that you need to get a professional grade violin....it's very hard to play sarasate with a middle grade instrument.

  • Good job, but you need more expression. The skill and technical is good, but it is almost boring to watch.

  • Astonishing. Magnificent.

  • Prodigy

  • Good god... that was amazing. I'm currently trying to learn that piece but she makes it look easy. There's some awesome talent there.

  • played so perfectly.

  • Hey Gabrielle, awesome performance as usual!!!

    -Cassie

  • she's just great. when i was 10 i played some obvious stuff... but she's playing zigeunerweisen! that's not fair!

  • Wow she's fabulous age 10 can play tis fast n PERFECT tone indication ~ is EXCELLENT!!!

  • No words to say. 15-20 years later she will be a Perlman.

  • that was flawless and her bow control was insane thats the best ive heart it played

  • Wow. She is really good. I was watching her piano too. It gave me goosebumps.

  • Bravo! Fantastic! She is truly amazing! Anything less than the first prize in the competition would be unfair!
