This sounds odd, but I'm always prepared to lose my partner at any given moment. In a way, this helps me enjoy them IN the moment, and not obsess over having them for x amount of time, or losing them to x amount of people.

You have to understand that they can have fun with many people, but they just choose you to be happy with.

I think it's important to realize that some people are just not cut out for swinging. They are who they are and no amount of talking about it will take away their inherent jealousy. But if you think may be cut out for it, I would recommend lots of talking between partners so both people clearly understand what they need from the experience and what their partners boundaries are. This may help head off problems.

I think jealousy is born of not really feeling loved by your partner. In my relationship, I DO feel very loved by my partner. We have an honest, open relationship. We talk about everything together. When we tried our first threesome with another woman, I did not feel jealous at all of my boyfriend making love to her, because I recognized that it wasn't a threat to me at all, becaues he loves me. It turned me on to see his passion and arousal for the other woman... it was just sex with her.
