I timed 1 year at about 56 minutes. I guess it varies a bit depending on how much animation and stuff you have going on and how fast your PC is.

Where do you download all your music?

I recorded the theme song with Audacity from the game itself. With Audacity and many other sound recording/editing programs you can choose to record what is sent to the speakers. With Creative sound cards that output is aptly named "What U Hear" :p. I think "Stereo Mix" or something like that is the most common name for it.

really, you're also a nightwish fan? Well if you really don't know what the theme could be. Then I have some tips for you, you could make a theme for every album or song. Like with "Planet Hell". You could make a Hell themed area.

Although, the first three coasters I built in the park, End of All Hope, Wishmaster, and Kuolema Tekee Taiteilijan are almost exactly like matsku84's Extreme Heights coasters, Flaming Fury, Hulk's Rollercoaster Rage, and Screw Your Neighbor, all my other coasters will be different from matsku84's remake of the park.

You know what you could do? OK, go to C:\Program Files\Infogrames Interactive\RollerCoaster Tycoon 2\Scenarios, scroll down untill you see Extreme Hieghts, copy and paste the file to the Landscapes folder. Then, start the game, go to Scenario Editor, click on Options, click on Extreme Hieghts, click next 'till you get to the part where you name your park, type in, "Nightwish Highlands", save, and there you have it!

Cool scenery. Clever how you built the rides.. When I build parks, most of the time I try make as much space between the nice gardens and the coasters but then I get bored of seeing a nice quiet park and then go and build heaps of rides and shops and then I end up getting rich and I don't even want to. It's hard for me to Not make money.

I have a question for you since you are an expert at this game... what is the easiest way to make money in a park that allows free rides but a park entrance fee?

Sorry but I'm certainly no expert with that kind of parks :/.. only played only 5 or 6 of them so far. I always do lots of advertisement campaigns (especially the cheap ones like free food or drink vouchers) to attract more people to pay the entrance fee, which of course is the biggest source of income. I also choose only coasters with on-ride photo sections to be able to sell as many of those as possible. Just keep expanding as quickly as possible so more and more guests can enter the park.

A strategy I've sometimes found effective is to have no cash machines in the park, so when people run out of cash, they leave and thus make room for new guests to pay the entrance fee.

Thanks =)! It's all in the video description: I record with Hypercam 2 and edit with Sony Vegas 7. Yes, you can add new scenery objects. RCT2 fans have made tons of new objects that you can download from various fansites.

I dunno :p, I just pick scenarios that take the longest to complete, start building away and get hooked on it :D.

Bare in mind that these are my best parks. I do have many parks that don't look nearly as good as the ones I've published. With both Extreme Heights and this park, I added much additional scenery before publishing. This park also had A LOT of beautiful scenery to begin with.

I dunno, I don't really keep track of when I started or finished what park :p (except that I always add the date to the high score). And often I even play several unfinished parks at the same time (not literally at the same moment :D).

If you convert 30 RCT years to rela time its 28 hours. My oldest save from this park is from Sep. 15th, 2005 and the high score is dated 2 days later. But last fall I started playing the park again to add more scenery... just for you guys ;D!
