  • "Fahrenheit 451" is an amazing book, a perfect critique of the enslavement of society in the Western world by media and conformity. It stands alongisde with George Orwell's "1984" and if you say these books suck you are an ignorant fool.

  • sick book

    fail movie

  • its true the book is way better not saying that the movies isnt good but the book has more parts which i most likely enjoy

  • they need to remake this movie

  • Re-make expected 2012!

  • Clarise doesn't look like she is 16 years old

  • i'm guessing that the girl is Clarrisse... she seems to ask questions... lol :D glad i finally got a REAL clip of this movie... :D

  • But isn't reading a book about it being a crime to read a book... a crime? I had chills reading it! This was a great way to tell the story.

  • Do u hav the whole movie? i need to watch it for a English essay.

  • Read the book.

  • ja,ja me to.

  • just read the book it is way better. the movie doesnt do bradbury justice

  • The book is NOTHING like the book

  • The book is NOTHING like the book???

That's new... I thought it'd be pretty much like itself

  • umm... don't you mean the movie is nothing like the book [or the other way around depending on what you are trying to prove]

  • What the fuck are you talking about! Either you read it or you didn't.

  • no entiendo nada... u.u

  • It SO is.

  • i agree

  • i have the book of this.....i thought montag was only 30 -.- and that girl carisse or what ever was 17 and montag was a fire man not the old version of 007 -.-

  • wat happen to the whole thing??

  • Rumor is that Tom Hanks will play Guy Montag in the 2009 remake. The monorail was called the SAFEGE and it was a test track in France. The actual track was torn down but the cars and some supports still remain in storage in France - although in deplorable condition. If you don't know who François Truffaut was, watch Close Encounters of the Third Kind, he played the French scientist Lacombe.

  • Tom Hanks withdrew from the contract, sorry mate, they're still looking for a lead role.

  • That's a bummer, he would have been a perfect choice.

I didn't even know they were doing a remake. I'm excited about that, though. The older version doesn't do it for me. The book is amazing...my favorite.

  • There is going to be a remake?! yes...

  • Is that supposed to be Clarisse McClellan? I thought they took her out of the movie.

  • yeah thats her, but I thought her to be a bit younger in the book than what's shown here

  • she's supposed to be 17 in the book

  • i would have pictured her to be MUCH MUCH different.

  • Yeah...I think the movie changed a lot of stuff from the book...but I dunno, I've never actually seen the whole thing.

  • That's a thick German accent for Montag.

  • i thought so too but somebody told me that he is french!

  • montreuxJazz,

Oscar Werner was actually Austrian (German was his first language). He was a magnificent actor who passed away too early at age 61 in 1984. He was marvelous at playing understated characters.

  • Oh, its Jules

  • UPLOAD BOOK BURNING SCENES PLEASE

  • Upload all scenes, if you please. I can't find it anywhere.

  • That guy mumbles

  • The monorail in this scene was an experimental test track in Chateauneuf, about 60 kilometers south of Paris, France. Notice that the one car just keeps going back and forth along the single track!

  • cool
