I know her jumps were not there, but this has to be one of the most beautifully choreographed programs this season and she skates it well here in spite of the fact that she couldn't jump for some reason this competition. She'll be ready though when Vancouver rolls around. She'll be vying for a medal I'm sure.
The jumps weren't with her but the positives are her speed was outstanding, the actual "skating" elements were great and her performance was very good.
She's pushing herself with this program. It's so difficult - no easy foot work, no crossovers. I adore Joannie - she's worked so hard (I was in the audience at her first national win!!!! - it was great!)
I think it's inspiring when skaters push themselves to do something really difficult and challenging but I get scared. It's so hard and I want her to win a medal really badly!
Good luck Joannie! We love you and we know you can pull off the perfect program at the Olympics!
She doesn't look like she clicks with this program. Last years program to Aranjuez was a great fit for her, she should go back to it for the Olympics.
Yes, I think so too! She said in an interview she'll be doing "early in the season" practices - really hard, really long.
She had a terrible GPF last year too, and it was fine at the Worlds.
I find this program very challenging - very hard to get through - so it will be dazzling if she does it perfectly. Her foot-work, speed - it's really a difficult program - and many of her jumps are after the 2 minute mark.
I like that she's actually pushing herself by not doing a striaght-line step sequence, like every other lady is doing, but she has to bring some energy to it.
i love both her programs for this season and i really hope to see her at the top of the podium at the oylmpics.
when she executes both her programs the way they're supposed to i don't see why not :)

She was really off her game this nite, must have been hard. Hope she can regroup before the Olympics.
