  • I wanna see recordings of all the other times they were in the pool or its fake.. what are the chances of you randomly having a cam corder there perfectly set facing the pool and what are the chances of him slipping when you randomly walk away and then he saves himself and you randomly come walking back... 98.9% of me doesn't believe it. The other 1% is there only because anything is possible.

  • @YouHaveATinyPenis If you are in central Texas and would like to drive over and watch 4 hours of VHS of a bunch of people swimming in a pool and kids playing in a hot tub, you're welcome to do so. The video camera sat on a tripod recording for well over an hour facing the hot tub because my father liked videotaping EVERYTHING - to an almost ridiculous point. (There's a fair chunk of the camera time recording an empty hot tub.) The child is the pool is me (a female), btw.

  • @YouHaveATinyPenis Also, my father does not just "randomly come walking back." He calls out my name from the back of the fence, where he is, and when he doesn't hear me respond, he rushes over.

  • @YouHaveATinyPenis And on a side note, what kind of parent would stage their toddler to go under and then save themselves?! You must have little or no experience with kids if you think it would be easy or safe to "train" a child to do that.

  • Excellent video.

  • I have to say this is one of the most amazing things I've seen. Partly since I used to be a swim instructor, and the other part because I am a new parent of a 6 month old. And as summer is gearing up here and I am getting ready to introduce him to the water (bought a life vest the other day) I figured I'd do some research. Thanks for posting. Most important thing that goes without saying is that kids can drown in one foot of water. Watch them.

  • Interesting! Thanks for posting :)

  • As the mother to a Near drowning survivor, I think this video is a great way to show how valuable swim lessons are. The sooner the better! My son also took lessons with ISR after his accident and we plan on enrolling our 7 month old as soon as the weather warms here soon in Florida. It isn't fun or easy to watch your baby crying while they learn the process, but finding your baby in a pool is even worse! Great video!
