  • It is a shame theese types of locomotives are going out of style

  • EWS missed an opportunity here with the DVT's when they were coming out of passenger use. With so many Mk 3 sleepers spare, surely some could have been rebuilt as mail van to form sets of 4 or 5 with the DVT, and have a 90 for traction.

  • wow this is unreal. a class 47 pulling dvt's into retirement. i usd to live near tammworth train station and only class 90 used to pull the dvt.

    why dindn't the clas 86 and 87 that used to run the line regulary not pull dvt;'s
