  • Great figure, but not much as a play thing because the helmet comes off. Perfect for display to reenact the reveal scene at the end of ROTJ. Probably the 2004 Vintage Vader with saber hilt and non removable helmet makes a better toy for children, since the helmet doesn't pop off.

  • Dude do you play with these all day?!? I know I would lol

  • How big is the action figure? (In inches)

  • i remember my father got just me one figure back in the 80's and that's annoying 3CPO not even a vader or luke figure!

  • Great review. May I know how do you manage to preserve the bubble and card in such an intact manner as you remove the figure? Did you use a pen-knife to cut along the edge of the bubble?

    Thanks

  • man that room looks like paradise

  • Does Darth Vaders helmet stick well to his mask?

    CC6336

  • @coolchannel6336 Not very much...but a little blu-tak and it works a charm!

  • @flyguydotnet yes, i did that :)

  • Should I get a BARC Trooper or a AT-RT Driver. And don't say both!

  • @DevinSouthivong AT-RT Vintage collection al the way man-check out our review-he's awesome!

  • Can you do a review on the 1980 darth vader action figure

  • @MrWowzrzz Sorry dont have one any more.

  • @flyguydotnet "any more"? I thought no one is selling these figures once they have their hands on them :o

  • @gtabro1337 I sold All my vintage figures in my late twenties as society (and lost of A-holes) tell you toys are for kids. Fact, they aint, and you are always a kid so in many cases I've bought a few vintage figures back over the years, and one kinda white looking one coming up for review soon ; )

  • I want it

  • @3moctezumaboys Plenty of stock online!

  • @flyguydotnet and yes lol that vader figure is really rare you can't even buy it now lol then it must be really hell hard to find him!

  • @flyguydotnet i mean the 1980 vader not the real one you review lol

  • @MultiPluto1234 aha! : ) ebay for you dude!

  • @flyguydotnet AAAAAAAAAAAAAA EBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

  • wow all these 30 year olds and up are collecting toys, BANG A CHICK play xbox fucking no life nerds i quit playing with toys when i was 10!

  • @goofyskaterenjoi1 Hey! Your another one of those internet trolls! I've heard about your kind. Your all a bit odd in that you watch strangers videos and then feel compelled to put certain words in capitals COS YOU FEEL THE NEED TO HAVE BIG WORDS and I see your now a marriage/sex counsellor too with the advice. This is deep, deep life advice man...You've inspired me, amazing! I'd have to be inspired with a username like yours. Thanks for all the top advice!

  • @goofyskaterenjoi1 fuck you man you are like my brother exactly like my brother and i am 10 still play with toys and if you don't like it don't watch it why do you even watch it? so stupid.

  • Looking at this latest VC Vader on Reblescums Photo Archieve, and it looks like this VC Vader is actually the 3 piece Helmet Vader. That neck brace looks removeable in the pics.

    ht@tp://w@ww.rebelscum.c@om/photo.asp?image=/TVC/Basic/VC08Vader/TVC-073.jpg

    (remove the @ from link)

Can you just "pop" the head off this VC Vader Fly, without breaking it?

  • @royalDJjamie it does look removable indeed!

  • Im sure that this VC Vaders head is made from the same tooling as The Evo Vader from 2005 , but the EVO Vader doesnt have those scars on his face painted red. They are there, but they are left unpainted. Only the scar on top and at the back of Vaders head are painted red. Also the little dots on the back of Vaders neck piece are left unpainted on the Evo one. They arent painted silver like on the VC 1 in Flys video. Basically like FLY said, this VC 1 is just the EVO Vader w/new 2 piece Helmet.

  • @royalDJjamie Yep your right.

  • @herorhim 3 part helmet? Thats not the Evolutions Vader. The Evo Vader only has 1 removeable piece-The helmet/face plate which is all 1 piece. The other part that is around Vaders neck/mouth isnt removeable, although it is a serperate piece from the head sculpt. (you can spin Vaders head around in it) Looking at my Evo Vader now,+ its very similar to the VC Vader in Flys video. In fact i think the only difference is the 2 piece VC hemet vs the 1 piece Evo version,+some minor paint differences

  • Brilliant as always, I got it also, to add to my vader collection;) Feels like Vader Army building sometimes;)

  • @miked3038 So true!

  • @ToyCollectoR98 Yeah pretty close.

  • @BumblePrime1000 Cheers! Yeah not much difference between this and others...

  • great review yes there have been many many vaders but the vintage ones seem to be the best. i as well love the vintage cards because it reminds me of the figues i grew up with in the 70s and 80s,also spaceballs is an awsome movie any sci fi fan should see.

  • @MARKYMARK678 I so know what you mean ; )

  • I must have passed on this guy hundreds of times, and now that most of them are gone you've made me want it.

  • @TheSkyCracker

i feel exactly the same, didnt know he had a removable helmet, ive got loads of crap vaders with shit swivel elbows, bet i wont get this now

  • @TheSkyCracker Excellent! (rubs hands like Mr Burns)

  • Hahaha I love space balls!! Love the part where they go to watch the movie and they fast forward it so they can find where the good guys are. Great review flyguy! =D

  • @JediJordan369 Cheers J! May the Schwartz be with you!

  • I'm going to be thoroughly disappointed when the vintage collection comes to a close, thankfully that won't be for a while. I hope Hasbro continues to make their future figures reflect the same quality the Vintage collection is currently exhibiting. (And I hope other companies lead by example.)

  • @IXNER0XI Well said!

  • Im First! : )

THAT ITS SOO COOL REVIEW xD

    : )

  • Do yu kno which darth vader has the 3 part removeable helmet? Where the neck piece is also removeable

  • @herorhim2 thats the 'evolutions' darth I think...
