While I find these comments really funny and with truth to them, I can't agree. Yes, a lot of politicians are crooked, some even backstabbers to the people that voted them in office. However, the Dems are the greater of the two evils because they vote for policies that infringe on a neworn's right to life. They fought for slavery, segregation, and deny poor children the right to chose their schools. In the meantime they act like they are so concerned about terrorists and polar bears.

It's simple. GOP wants to maintain the status quo, meaning in their minds it is acceptable to violate the rights of the few to hold up the lifestyle of the many. They want slow, or no change, and believe that you are on your own period. They say small government, but I laugh at that because how the hell is there such a thing with 300 plus million people. Democrats believe rights outway lifestyle, and feel education, and healthcare are a right. Not run it, just have it actually work for us.

If you want to say we have a right to education then you forfeit your rights to property, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness (your real rights). Democrats want to restrict economic freedom (rights).  The GOP rejects progressive restriction of rights economically (unfortunately not socially).

In reality our taxes change all the time, and most of the time you don't even notice the extra $200.00 per year difference. So when theses so called patriots love their country when Bush was elected, but now that their taxes are actually down for most of our citizens, they squawk about higher taxes, and socialism, but funny how taxes are lower, and they probably cannot define socialism.

When I say not run it, but have it actually work for us, what I mean is this. In a country with so much wealth, and supposed freedom, do you think it is acceptable to not have the best education system to grow our youth? Do you think it makes sense to be this powerful, yet have a healthcare system that is not efficient? What is wrong with investing to create a system that works for us, not makes us work for it? We don't have to own it just because we invest to improve it.

Of course there is hypocracy in both camps. It's alot like how I describe the modern biased media. We know that NBC, and Fox are polar opposites, but they do in fact use the same tactics, but the content is different. It's like two kids throwing water balloons, only one of them is filling his balloons with piss. From a distance both appear the same, but if you get up close, it becomes obvious real fast. All are bias, but fox is throwing piss around in a waterballoon fight. I have no side.

To be fair, we have not been discussing ideas, or our personal political ideals. We have been discussing the modern definition of "liberal" as it is properly defined in a political context, and the fact that since all network media is biased, none have any credible info to provide, but I did state that Fox has taken this bias tactic to new and improved lows, that's all. The thing with Fox news is that it doesn't really pretend to be unbiased. The Fair and Balanced applies to the little news blurbs in between shows, and I think that it does a pretty good job compared to other news networks. Nobody pretends that Bill Oreilly is unbiased. Since Fox News has pundits, it doesn't pretend to be unbiased. Katie Couric pretends to be unbiased, which isn't true. They have different tactics, but I think NBC's version is more deceptive. However, both suck.

I agree they all suck. What gets me worked up is people who make statements like "well, my network is less biased so I listen to them". You are either bias, or you are not. Once a bias nature is exposed you should have no credibility period. But our nations idiots just don't get they are being lied to by every major news outlet we have. You have to put together on your own a list of credible reporters who are independent, and do not offer opinions, but just dates, names, and what was said.
