I want to add I recomend using scavenger even though the mk14's damage stats are off the charts amazing, you waist ammo fast with it. I would recommend scavenger pro, Quickdraw pro and stalker pro since, the main thing your going to need with the mk14 is a very good accuracy system. Dont get me wrong, the red dot sight is one of the 2 atachements I would put on it. I would use the red dot and silencer while using the attachments proficiency.

Rapid Fire on the MK14 uncaps the firing limiter that is place, allowing it to fire as fast as you click. Absolutely essential on this gun

Silencer however slows down the rate of fire further on a stock MK14 for balance purposes.

Both Rapid Fire + Silencer result in a fire rate cap similar to a stock MK14

Therefore avoid silencer on this gun leaving probably Kick and Rapid Fire as the two best mods to this gun. Just avoid close encounters if possible

@rezzidue1 I use suppresor and rapid fire. I tried in split screen and if you use silencer u have 3 shots in chest from far distance, and it's not very very far. But medium far. I use online rapid fire and silencer but i pwn too :) but i like silencer very much cause you can't see on the radar then, and I know from myself I always look at the radar. I don't know what i'm going to use now. I'll see :-)

Mk14 is a beast with rapid fire I'm level 79 right now and that's still all that I use I also play on PS3 and I went 53 and 6 with it on domination in dome I am definitely spendig on of my prestige tokens on it

@Voohoo From my personal experiences, the MK14 fires slower than the Black Ops M14 and it jams as well. However, if one puts rapid fire on the MK14, the fire cap is removed and we can all be happier.

Got the same problem you described in some games: random freezes my connection status can't explain. Usually I only experience them in a single game, if I quit, chances are that I won't experience them. Anyway this is very frustrating and annoying when it happens and you're right to complain. I do too ^^

I experienced that kind of lag on the 2nd day of release. The fucking pregame lobby lagged - it was awful. It was so bad I thought it was my 360 taking a shit so I popped in Black Ops and it was perfectly fine. I think it's just the sheer amount of people online at the moment. I haven't experienced lag like that since and they did release an update which I'm sure helped smooth things over. Just give it a few days. They'll get it straightened out.

Yes, disabling theater mode helps, but it doesn't cure the problem. And it has nothing to do with connection. You can have a four bar, full game, and it still lags. It's a server issue, no damn doubt.
