  • Yes sound can heal. I also like reiki and Light Axis Healing. Namaste

  • That sounded amazing!

  • Awesome..

  • look, little dijeridoos! I can see how that would make me feel better. I'll bet you leave that place and a street riot would sound quiet! Can you do some WhiteSnake on those things?

  • Ultrasound is also used in modern physiotherapy clinics. I've had it done myself. Use a search engine with the words "physiotherapy" and "ultrasound" and you'll find a ton of links.

I was just curious if it's even possible for the human voice to have some sort of effect like that or if the relief these people are getting is just a placebo effect.

  • Would the sound waves of a person's voice, directed in that way by the "megaphone" type devices, be somewhat similar to the ultrasound treatments that they give in more modern physiotherapy clinics? The ultrasound has an anti-inflammatory effect beneficial to the underlying tissues.

  • An ultrasound is a way of looking at a baby inside the womb.

  • Ultrasound is also used to heal tissues, I had it done for my arm at the hospital physical therapy clinic.

  • @Whatever1076 I doubt it. Ultrasound devices generally are using 1-10Hz, whereas the human voice is only capable of generating 80ish to 170ish Hz. The difference is astronomical. Even using a megaphone, you can't hit that with a few pieces of wet meat slapping against one another(The vocal chords).
