If Ron Paul does not win the nomination and Mitt romney and Newt gingrich win the nomination i would full endorse Gary johnson as a libertarian canadite altought i would have liked Gary Johnson would have stayed in until atleast New Hampshire since Gary was doing pretty well there, i mean just think if Ron Paul would have won Iowa and Gary Johnson won New Hampshire then the 2 frontrunners would have been Libertarians and the whole conversation would have changed in the republican party

It was a very politically-smart move for Johnson to crack that joke, especially toward the end of the debate. Having been excluded from the last couple debates, Johnson needs name recognition. People remember who makes them laugh.
