The whole "Is it punk?" argument is one of the most superficial arguments around today. I know that it's music, and in this case, I personally think it's pretty good. People have a habit of thinking the label is more important than the music, and it's not. It's just an adjective. If you're only listening to music because the majority of people label it as "punk" then I have to think you're missing out on a lot of good music.

Pro Tip: You won't find any good punk on radio maybe some punk inspired power pop like Paramore they have some solid singles. but for the most part real good punk is not very famous and mostly releases stuff on vinyl.
