We all still know Dr. Jones and his trusty whip and hat are still amazing. GO get some damn popcorn and watch the movie. Or just listen to the movie... and enjoy it.

  • Muy buena interpretacion, lastime que el video esta cortado

  • who wants after this video to watch indiana jones?

  • 00:10 messed up lol

  • @6022775 I heard that as well, but I think that it might just be a gap in the video. if you'll notice, the entire video is very low quality and it seems as if it might be off in the timing to the sound.

  • this song just makes me want to go on an adventure. now wheres my satchel, whip, and hat?

  • @lilporkchopx yeah, you're so right!

  • Willians is the Master.

  • at :33 the lead trumpet player looks like he's about to pass out

  • I accidentally acquired 5 Mayan artifacts while listening to this.

  • i wanna play the timpanny

  • nice one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • John WIlliams = LEDGEND!!!!!!!!

  • @MrAlienBurrito1 learn to spell moron!!!

  • @Grambino2012 well ok urban dictionary i am SOOOO sorry for mispelling one word out of the millions i have written and typed gee i hope the world doesnt end for you and your nerd friends cuz i mistyped a word

  • The moive(Indiana Jones) would not have been great without the music.

  • oh yeah and i play trumpet and lead trumpet is good, thats a hard theme to play.

  • LOLZ lead trumpet woozy

  • showwwwwwwwwww very good guy

  • when i was young i wanted to be one of two things. either a jedi or indiana jones. because there are no better hero's in our time. jedi are the best representation of selfless people who focus on the good in life and fight for it. and indiana is just...... he's to awesome for words. chuck norris can kill anything.... accept indiana jones

  • @greatwizard3 u got typo on "accept indiana jones'', supposed to be except

  • @takutanuva937 Hahaha, I "correctly" read 'accept' That was a good phrase :p

  • @greatwizard3 heck ya!! well said! :) I plan to still go out in the world and do things by myself and just go. :) inspiring music for all of those that still hold on your dreams.

  • @greatwizard3 "except" not "accept". Learn to spell moron!

  • @Grambino2012 hey douche bag, i cant help it if my computer does auto correction against my will. and if your gonna insult someone, you should do it properly. " learn HOW to spell moron!" learn how to type a proper sentence

  • @greatwizard3 Don't mean to interject, but as an unbiased third party, "learn to spell moron" is a proper sentence. Although, both of you made a terrible mistake. By not using a comma, the instruction is getting the person to spell to word "moron", not calling them one. John William is incredible and this piece is amazing, so spelling shouldn't matter in any of it, moron.

  • @Grambino2012 Except he spelled the word correctly; he just used the wrong word. Spelling had nothing to do with it, so gtfo with your grammar nazism.

  • @Grambino2012 Geez, The grammar police D: and it should be "learn HOW to spell". >.>!

  • very nice

    EXCELENT!!!

  • wow the trumpet player is sooooo good

  • нда хорощо

  • Estos temas se han vuelto grandes clasicos por la cultura popular que hay detras de ellos y que sin duda las peliculas de Indiana Jones no serian lo mismo sin este tema

  • john williams is the best composer

    1. Home Alone

    2. Home Alone 2

    3. Jaws

    4. Indiana Jones

  • he missed the note, if it was a blip in the recording everything else woulda skipped as well.

  • he didn't miss a note it was definitly a blip in the record.

  • He didnt miss it, it's a blip in the recording

  • Wow...way to go trumpet player. You can't miss a note that simple lol it just shouldn't happen

  • here's my question...how do you screw up your solo. I'm mean that was the trumpet players shining moment and he majorly failed.

  • @otakufan88 where did he mess up?

  • they were recently hit by an earthquake, I hope they're fine

  • fail trumpet

  • LOL, true

  • いい歌だー[^0^]

  • Lovely string section at 1:57 ... impressive

  • Ouch, the trumpet fucked up the first main riff of the theme

  • me parece nuy bueno este video buenos artitas ugual les falta un poco

  • @araukito no spanish here bud

  • beautiful score, this guy made the movie.

  • ь....nice

  • John Williams' music fits every genre of movie he's ever composed for, so perfectly.

  • John Williams is one of the best modern music composers. I would dare to compare him with the rest classic music composers! His music is really amazing!

  • Agreed!

  • No no no :) sorry but John Williams is a really good composer at themes... and I would agree with you if he hadn't got his inspiration from many other classical piece of Symophnies. Especially for famous pieces of music : like intro to starwars and duel of faith :S I can tell you the sources and the peices of music for his inspiration you'll be bluffed :) just send me an message :)

  • @688james

i totaly agree. id love to see guys like ottman and mark snow do some kind of tour with mr.williams :)

  • @688james

    don't forget hans zimmer

he's as good as john williams maybe better maybe not

  • @TheHaick Well they got two different composing style, And they are so uniqe in their own way, Personally i think John Williams is the greatest moviecomposer with Hans Zimmer at a close second. I mean you cant argue that he has done the most iconic masterpieces! Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Superman, Jurassic Park, you name it :-)

  • @688james if you like John Williams look up Joe Hisaishi or Hans Zimmer :3

  • @shunnehling clicking on my name you will see that on my play list I already include Zimmer

  • Comment removed

  • @688james no better freaking way to say it then how you just did. john williams is like the einstein of motion picture soundtracking. there is none better. your movie aint nothing unless you got JW behind you for your score

  • @688james Yup he is the 21st century Mozart , Beethoven etc .

he would be remembered like how they are in the years to come .

  • @Rayner1234 i saw someone compare david garret to mozart, but i think that john williams deff. qualifies to be ranked in that catagory

  • @688james but he did copy a lot of pieces from other composers

  • @688james das stimmt allerdings

  • nice

  • ROLF =)))))))

  • Dude I thought the lead trumpet guy was going to fall over at first.

  • me too

  • lol, you said it, right on ;)

  • Great lead trumpet!

  • So is the flutest..you can hear the riffs but they just don't show him/her--this is an extremely excellent orchestra!!

  • the trumpet is off beat at the start

  • no its not

it rushes the tiniest bit but i wouldnt say its off beat...

  • Ah, sweet memories: when Harrison Ford was still young

  • This soundtrack is awesome.....John Williams is great ;)

  • The beginning trumpet part instantly brings back Indy memories

  • Yet another legend in the long career of the great John Williams

  • What an epic song

  • yeah

  • Sound delay x15?

  • Who cares after all it sounds nice and fluent.

    felice 18!

  • aaa que bien tocan :D

  • Awesome song, John Williams makes so many awesome movies even better with his epic music.

  • yo soy de Santiago de Chile =D

  • yo tambien

  • darn good but they missed a note in the beginning. if not pls correct me :)

  • You are partially right. You see they were playing the andanate allegro fettucini of the etude to the prelude to the interlude to the Indiana Jones theme. So, that note is optional. Now, if it had been the molto bene ravioli, then that note would have been crucial and leaving it out would have been unforgivable.

  • LMAO!!!!!

  • you call it crap but to me a saxophone player in the high school band....it's the sweetest thing on earth

  • Am I the only one who finds this orchestra crap at playing the piece?

The conductor is not holding them together they are coming in out of time and it is much too staccato.

    More legato please...

  • Why would you want legato in this piece? Its not supposed to be slow, its supposed to keep moving and flow, and they do a fine job.

  • @NateMelo614 Legato doesn't mean slow though..

  • @StraightNoChaser86 but when you play legato and connect phrases, it slows it down whether you mean to or not...

  • @NateMelo614 A professional group should not slow down just because the music is legato. Legato is not rubato. The key is to make sure you're always playing on top of the beat. A lot of times if it feels like you're pushing, chances are you're bang on.

  • This is probably the second best John Williams theme ever. After Jurassic Park.

  • Kudos for the half-hearted attempt at having the last word :) However I won't allow you to have it. We will see how long you last...

  • Yeah, because the imperial march sounds just like this and the jaws theme, idiot.

  • There's a difference between having a style and being a hack. Obviously you can't hear the difference. Too bad. Refine your ear.

  • Comment removed

  • ear: keen or sensitive perception of the differences of sound, esp. sensitiveness to the quality and correctness of musical sounds ...

gatomjp isn't refering to your ability to hear... he is speaking of you INability to recognize a composer's personal style. Calling John Williams a hack because you can't remember the correct theme song to a specific movie that you no doubt saw in your mid twenties (1981) is innapropriate and childish.

I second gatomjp's comment... go REFINE your ear

  • You confuse your sarcasm with wit when in reality it's only ignorance.

  • Comment removed

  • Thank you for providing evidence to support my belief that you can not distinguish between sarcasm and wit so you claimed to be familiar with both when you clearly are not.

As for you "modicum of intelligence and knowledge of music" comment... it gave me quite a chuckle. I wasn't aware that searching google for a bit of trivia qualified.

Enjoy your right to share ignorant opinions, I will enjoy my right to dismiss them as nonsense

  • JOHN WILLIAMS FTW!!!

  • I love that song.

  • John Williams is one bomb ass player. His music rocks the house! He's probably rolling in the Bejamins right now, laughing.

  • Yea, they make boats of money and are internationally recognized. Dick.

  • They say that John Williams was actually born a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...

  • Wns chilenos la llevamos !! Que buen tema y muy bien interpretado. Fantastico.

  • Ya your right where are all of the good themes today...........classic music is still the best.

  • john williams will live forever

  • BRAVO ONCORE :_) !

  • 1:01 my fav part xD

  • Yihaa!!!!

  • the good old days are gone ;(((

think about it... where are the good themes today ???

star wars, indi, A-team,airwolf, knight rider etc etc ...... rly said ;(

  • mm have you heard music or seen films from the last 15 years??

because even the old ones are just greats (specially the music created by this genious) I have to say that the music of Gladiator, Forrest Gump, Amelie, Wall-e, Finding Neverland, Atonement, Pirates of Caribbean, American Beauty, Life is Beautiful, Magnolia and The Lord of the Rings are just a little example of the new wave of great composers.

  • BRAVOOOOO
