I have the same guitar, and maybe hers does need to be tuned, but mine is tuned and it stills sounds like that. It has kinda a ringing ukulele sound to it. I hate it! I'm gonna try to change the strings and see if it helps, if not I'm probably gonna sell it. Anyways, good job on the singing!
