I found Tommy's behavior more shameful than Sweeney's. Sweeney attempted to get the truth and asked questions, though he really did know better than to loose it, I can see why he did. While Tommy just interrupted repeatedly in a calm voice (as though speaking in a calm voice automatically makes interrupting less rude), kept a polite facial expression while standing too close (as a form of intimidation), and refused to listen and threw out accusations.
I think the whole point was to make Sweeney angry in order to make him look bad, scientology thrives on destroying the reputations of the people who oppose them, even in the slightest.
I applaud sweeney for lasting as long as he did... i would've most likely just punched him the moment he opened his mouth XD

I don't know if you'd call it brainwashing, but scientologists are certainly well drilled in the art of demonizing anyone who is critical--after watching four or five clips of different scientologists in different locations I've noticed they always say the same things, "What are your crimes?" and "You look like a child molester to me" or some variation of those two lines of attack. And of course, they do have a policy of trying to smear or destroy anyone who criticizes them on a regular basis.

As for the afterlife, well, I can confidently say "I have no idea". The afterlife is a mystery only solved by all of our inevitable deaths. And in some ways, I find comfort in that.
There really is no "after-life". There is only life. We are not our bodies. We are ourselves. We are what animates this thing we call a body. When we leave it, the body stops. The wild part is that life never had a beginning and doesnt have an end. So it can be said of you as well.

What I like most about COS is that it is not based on belief but is instead based on application & duplication. You dont have to believe in it for it to work. You dont need faith. Everything you study is addressed in regards to you. Not your belief in God which I feel probably differs from person to person. You learn the basic fundamentals of life and then you go apply them in your life. The word "religion" means the study of wisdom & knowledge.

Actually religion is a set of beliefs concerning the origins of the universe an all that's within it. Religions also have a set of moral codes and ritual which those involved take part in. These rituals, or auditing in Scientology's case, is what I'm interested in.
Also, I'm having difficulties finding Scientology's, how to put this, "Bible". I've found the Koran, the Torah and the Holy Bible online, available in full for all to read. Unfortunately I can not find Dianetics online.

As for the reason wanting to know more about the rituals, other religions are very open with what they do. Christians baptize their children, Jews light the Menorah, and Muslims fast for a month.

Well in Scn you will study the philosophy of Scn and then you will drill the steps in learning those axioms. In the video both Tory and Mo explain why they left Scientology and how the church treated them. While you check this video out, would you mind telling me which video you challenged her in?

Sometimes a BT will put other BTs in front of him as a sort of protection. You get a black area covered by a white area in front of it. A BT in the black area is holding some other BTs in place in front of it as a sort of protection or shield. I found Tommy's behavior more shameful than Sweeney's. Sweeney attempted to get the truth and asked questions, though he really did know better than to loose it, I can see why he did. While Tommy just interrupted repeatedly in a calm voice (as though speaking in a calm voice automatically makes interrupting less rude), kept a polite facial expression while standing too close (as a form of intimidation), and refused to listen and threw out accusations.

I don't know if you'd call it brainwashing, but scientologists are certainly well drilled in the art of demonizing anyone who is critical--after watching four or five clips of different scientologists in different locations I've noticed they always say the same things, "What are your crimes?" and "You look like a child molester to me" or some variation of those two lines of attack. And of course, they do have a policy of trying to smear or destroy anyone who criticizes them on a regular basis.

I also know that your church charges for something known as "auditing" where one is charged to reach a higher level of enlightenment. And, not only yourself, but many members of the church are very secretive about the religion, which just sound very odd to me.
As for my beliefs I have already said I am an agnostic. That is I believe in a higher being and some sort of meaning to life. I follow no church. I follow my own path and hope to find meaning through life lessons.

What I like most about COS is that it is not based on belief but is instead based on application & duplication. You dont have to believe in it for it to work. You dont need faith. Everything you study is addressed in regards to you. Not your belief in God which I feel probably differs from person to person. Actually religion is a set of beliefs concerning the origins of the universe an all that's within it. Religions also have a set of moral codes and ritual which those involved take part in. These rituals, or auditing in Scientology's case, is what I'm interested in.
Also, I'm having difficulties finding Scientology's, how to put this, "Bible". I've found the Koran, the Torah and the Holy Bible online, available in full for all to read. Unfortunately I can not find Dianetics online.

He had good reasoning, in my opinion. Tommy Davis was being extremely ignorant and aggressive. He was preventing John Sweeney from getting a word in edge-ways, most likely due to fear that he may say something that he can't deny. Either way, Tommy Davis didn't favour $cientology at all over the days that he was in contact with the BBC.

Oh I never turned a blind eye to what the catholic church has done, the real difference is that the catholic church eventually condemned the actions of those priests whereas the cult of scientology actively encourages activities such as blackmail, fraud, and extortion.
Yes, the catholics have much to answer for, but the threat they pose to society is insignificant compared to the threat posed by scientology.

I have watched closely and of course I can see that Sweeney suddenly stops his manic shouting then resumes it. That doesn't indicate a rational mind but the control of a psychopath.
