it wasnt a hardware failure it was overheating problems same thing happens to any other computer and yes a xbox is a computer just not running windows anyway i really dont see why ppl still say xbox sucks ive had mine for 3 years left it on for a week and 3 days still runs strong just got the new one and its bad ass easy way to fix the rrod take it apart and put the insides in a small pc case it will work fine the rrod is mainly caused by the stupid intercooler thing and cooling issues.
