Putting all my cards on the table: I am left leaning, always have been, but I respect and admire Ron Paul. No candidate shows Fox News' bias more than Dr. Paul. It is a shame. The Republican party is in shambles, and the Democrats are not doing too much better at the moment, but the blatant bias really only hurts Americans.
Remember the same thing happenned with Obama. He talked in a very beautiful way, he promised lots of things, but then he did the opposite. I don't trust this, I want to, but my instinct says no, because of the past presidents. Notice that not one of the moderators or the other candidates had a response to anything that Paul stated. They were flabbergasted by his honesty and integrity. Barry Goldwater won the Republican nomination in 1964 with a similar ideology. In 2008, fellow republicans treat Ron Paul as if he is from outer space when he talks about a smaller less intrusive government that's not invading countries based on preemption. I'm an Englishman living in New Zealand and Ron is the only guy making any kind of sense. He is the perfect tonic against the celebrity obsessed, personality worshiping that seems to preoccupy America. Such a shame he didn't get in, could have done the world a favour.
