Wouldn't sunctions make Iran more resolute to enrich uranion to any level they pleased? Sunctions end up harming civilians more than governments. Couldn't Iran sell highly enriched uranium to fundamentalist groups that want to get rid of the United States, Israel or Britain? In that case, they could enrich uranium in secrecy without having to create any nuclear weapons that would raise the flag. Could one trust the intelligence services of Britain or United States after Irak?
