This type of helicopters needs the increased tail screw. Otherwise reaction to commands "forward" and "back" very weak... In general it can fly very quickly forward and back if to increase an inclination at the expense of the back screw. Flies only indoors, in the street it at once blows off the slightest wind.
@xhelicopter Hmm, I just might do that. Then again, I really did love my 9088. It was fun, it was easy to control, it could take incredible hits and get up again like nothing happened; unfortunately it's electrics were made on a budget. Every now and again it would just drop 10-30cm even if I was only a few feet away, and after two years the transistor controlling the tail died. And I have had some truly terrible experiences with Syma with their S010 and mosquito.... Argh, which should I buy?!
in my opinion i think that the s-001 is a little bigger, a little cheaper, looks a little more durable and is probably the better bet the only concern i would have would be if that little tail motor will give it enough power for forward flight... so really it's you call (but i would buy the s-001) good luck and happy flying p.s. tell xheli i sold this to you :D have fun

My favorite chopper, the 9088 Apache by Double Horse, decided to burn out today. DH make very nice helis but they are a bit cheap and nasty.
