And being critical of a presidential candidate who just happens to be a black man doesn't count as racism.
everything they were saying had a racial slant. in the context of what he said about his mother acting like a "typical white person", they were painting him as a racist by clipping the quote. like Chris Wallace said, this was a nonissue, clearly low class slander, and inappropriate because it's purposely painting Obama as a racist black man. besides, the bone of contention was the show they were airing before Wallace came on.
While I would suggest that purposefully clipping the quote was shoddy journalism at best, I still don't see what this has to do with racism. They illustrated that the comment was racially insensitive (which it was), but did not in any way suggest that black people as a whole are inferior to white people. I didn't get us here. I saved money and bought a house I could afford with a loan I could afford. I didn't follow the Barney Frank, Nancy Pelosi / Fannie and Freddie plan of taking an astronomical loan at 100+ % with an arm that would swing back and kick my ass as soon as real estate sobered up and true values were expressed. It's easy to blame opposition, but the reality is that both sides played a hand in this mess. It's not always those "evil right wingers" causing all the problems.

the government has to intervene to the degree it does now because of too little government regulation in the past on banking systems. and I think most economists agree that you have to pump money back into the system in order to avoid a meltdown so yes there will be debt. The long term result will be inflation and a systemic risk to our financial viability. We all agree the down turn was caused by the housing crash. The mistake was to let one party have nearly free reign over gov't policy. If McCain had been elected, at least it would have been like the '90's with Clinton (and rep congress) where nothing significant got accomplished. It was a microstudy showing how government intervention in the market causes issues. Politicians feel the need to do things when there is a "crisis", when it is usually them who caused the issue to begin with. Get out of the way, and the people will fix the errors.

The end state is the same however, devaluing my savings and propping up a weak founded economy. We've only spent 3% of the allocated funds. Those "shovel ready" projects were fewer and far between than originally estimated. FOX & Friends is a pretty low quality morning show, but Chris Wallace is one of the best anchors and interviews on television, probably THE best since Tim Russert's passing. He is a credit to this network, and scares FOX Haters because he isn't part of the Pro-Obama propaganda machine.

While I would suggest that purposefully clipping the quote was shoddy journalism at best, I still don't see what this has to do with racism. They illustrated that the comment was racially insensitive (which it was), but did not in any way suggest that black people as a whole are inferior to white people. Obama being a Muslim is a popular opinion amongst McCain supporters. If these people aren't racist towards blacks, it at least shows that they're prejudice towards Arabs and Muslims. The confederate flag is popular amongst whites in red states. IMO flying the confederate flag basically says you are racist, because you're proud of the south's history of slavery, segregation, and the idea of white superiority. Robert Walker, or whatever his name was on this clip(I couldn't read it, it was so dark the way he chose to set up his credit page) appears to be from the "darker side", so his use of the word "hate" comes naturally. Any reasonable person would observe (if they actually watched the show) that Fox and Friends does not exhibit hate. They have healthy back and forth discussions, as is observed here.
