one thing I think people forget is, anderson silvia does not want everyone to know his tricks, if they knew everything about him, he would be destoryed, NO MMA fighters show everyone how to do everything they do, only true martial arts teachers not in pro compition

@ken162008 did you actually read the title of the video? im pretty sure most people who want to learn anything from this video realise that what anderson is teaching is intended for mma, not boxing, since that is the sport he competes in. and as narwhalsandjuice said, traditional boxing techniques in mma leave you very vulnerable to being taken down
@ken162008 MMA boxing is different, it doesnt suck. You cant use a lot of the normal boxing techniques in MMA because a pure boxer will be taken down extremely easily, and then they will lose IE Randy Couture EMBARRASSING James Tony pretty easily. This video never said "Anderson Silva teaches you boxing," it says "Boxing for MMA." Actually, in several points in the video, it says "Unlike traditional boxing..." So have a little respect in the differences of the sport, cause you sound like a dick.
@ken162008 lol Boxing for MMA is boxing but modified. MMA doesn't use those big pussy gloves of boxing. Plus the stance of traditional boxing is purely for punch techiques, both defense, and offense with punches. In MMA, you have leg kicks, which the boxing stand is vulnerable to.
