I have the 2003 version on DVD and downloaded this version elsewhere. I have to say the 2008 version is superior. Better choreograph, higher production values, while subjectively I find the actresses who played the 4 main women in Zhang Wuji's life, ie Zhao Min, Zhou Zhiruo, Xiao Zhao, Zhu Er just look stunning.

this song is really modern..but i like it:) i still like how the 2003 version had some old-chinesey ness to it...if you know what i mean..and the guy character was pretty cute:) the costumes in this one were better though..

hmm yeah i was initially doubtful but man ady an was so great as zhao min!!! the only complaint i have is zhuo zhiruo... the 2003 actress was much better... and i also wish they laid off on the CGI stuff a bit... but yeah it's actually a quite decent adaptation

This version is fantastic! I'm never a wuxia fan but hooked on this series. Yes, everyone played their characters well especially Deng Chao with his decent and honest look as Wuji & Ayn An was perfect as the Mongolian princess Zhao Min!

to be honest, initially i thought this version would be worse than the 2003 version. i started watching this because i wanted to see he zhuo yan in action :P, but after watching this, i feel that this version is better than the 2003 version. the characters all played their parts very well...

@CruzTunn Yeah but if you didn't watch the 2003 version or any prior versions before this, you wouldn't be able to understand the story. The 2003 version has more dialogue but lesser action while the 2009 version has lesser dialogue but more action and it's more realistic in the 2009 version where Wuji actually has some trouble with the enemies compared to the 2003 version where plot armor destroyed all his opponents.

@CruzTunn first of all from what i hear.. this serie is the third part of a trilogy books filmed based on a book. Of this 3rd part was only a 2000 version. Of the first part: condor heroes something is a 2003 version.. so not sure to what ur referring to here...

there is no HQ version yet since it aired not long ago, if u can type chinese then use one of their torrent sites for current version. If u know how to use VLC player then that has an option for u to download youtube direct streams, and if you want to wait for HQ + hardsubs or just HQ, then you should wait for JiangHu subgroup. GL ;)
