@XxQmanxXP2B not soon enough. but it will be free. also you should look out for halo faith. its another film by fans for fans and its also free and it dose have a release date come out when halo is on November 20th.

While we become critics with nothing to show I really wonder why there are non-fans of creative time consuming fan made films? @cjp8u2 Small budget is no excuse for half-ass measures. Look at the original Star Wars. It had no budget either. Except in this case, Halo is an established franchise with very specific requirements. Half measures will only do the Halo series more harm then good. And BTW, the brits aren't the only ones making a Halo movie. Majic Studies is producing a "high-quality" short film called Halo:Faith. Like the brits, Majic has a small budget too, but they are using their money to better effect.

Canon does not change for the legal rules in different countries. Especially when that canon takes place in a fictional homogenous culture. Just because Bugie used british voice actors does not give the british permission to go fucking with the set pieces and augmenting them to fit their own ideals. Get it right or get out.
This is what happens when you allow brits to make a film based on American intellectual property. The warthog looks like they took a VW beetle and gave it a new body, which is highly disproportional to the ones portrayed in the game. What they should have done was get their hands an a U.S. Army surplus HUMVEE and go from there. The fender dimensions would have been a lot closer to a Halo warthog. Brits need to learn about "military standards". Warthogs are left side drivers. OP Chas=Epic Fail
@thebadguy2k6 LOL you fail, how big of a budget do you think this film has. If you read up on this film the reason why the wind-shield was changed was because it was cost effective, and only a handful of guys made it. To me that is a feat in its self for a fan film budget.
@Awsomo666 And by going the cheap route, what service are they doing for any Halo movie prospects except showing how ridculous the idea is. If (when) they screw this up, it is just going to be that much harder for any publisher to willingly take a risk and cough up the multimillion dollar pricetag for production of a Halo movie actually deserves. In some respects, they are doing more harm then good with this stunt. This isn't amateur hour, either do it right, or don't do it.
I just think the outfits are a bit poor, like they aren't bulked up enough. Just some extra random padding underneath and more armour would make it look better! :)

@ReachStudioPro Both are fan made movies. I haven't heard much about Faith, all I've seen is a bit of concept art, but not much else. Chastity on the other hand has been in production for a very long time. Seems like they are trying to make it as good as possible. Halo Faith seems like it's being rushed. So I'm more excited for Chastity, but it's only because I haven't seen anything from Halo Faith worth getting excited over.

And they aren't 30-40 years of, those are real actors(maybe not A-List, but w/e) and they are all working for free. This is a Halo fan film for fans by fans. Isn't that what Halo is really about the strong fan community and unity? I will watch the film first, then make my decision on whether it sucked or not. I suggest you do the same.

oh yea on a £30.000 budget there really going to buy a humvee and make that look that like a warthog, and there have been several attempts to make a halo film before (none by the British) do you see any of them in cinemas ? no , because they failed , so at least the British actual managed to MAKE a halo film when no one else did ,and yea a warthog in America would be left side drive, but if they deployed them in england they would be..... yes right side drive.

@cjp8u2 Small budget is no excuse for half-ass measures. Look at the original Star Wars. It had no budget either. Except in this case, Halo is an established franchise with very specific requirements. Half measures will only do the Halo series more harm then good. And BTW, the brits aren't the only ones making a Halo movie. Majic Studies is producing a "high-quality" short film called Halo:Faith. Like the brits, Majic has a small budget too, but they are using their money to better effect.

@thebadguy2k6 This film is not set in America/Britian 2011......it is set in Earth:UNSC 2552. And in Earth: UNSC 2552, all warthogs are left side drivers. Canon does not change for the legal rules in different countries. Especially when that canon takes place in a fictional homogenous culture. Just because Bugie used british voice actors does not give the british permission to go fucking with the set pieces and augmenting them to fit their own ideals. Get it right or get out.

This is what happens when you allow brits to make a film based on American intellectual property. The warthog looks like they took a VW beetle and gave it a new body, which is highly disproportional to the ones portrayed in the game. What they should have done was get their hands an a U.S. Army surplus HUMVEE and go from there. The fender dimensions would have been a lot closer to a Halo warthog. Brits need to learn about "military standards". Warthogs are left side drivers. OP Chas=Epic Fail

@thebadguy2k6 LOL you fail, how big of a budget do you think this film has. If you read up on this film the reason why the wind-shield was changed was because it was cost effective, and only a handful of guys made it. To me that is a feat in its self for a fan film budget.

If (when) they screw this up, it is just going to be that much harder for any publisher to willingly take a risk and cough up the multimillion dollar pricetag for production of a Halo movie actually deserves. In some respects, they are doing more harm then good with this stunt. This isn't amateur hour, either do it right, or don't do it.

@ReachStudioPro Both are fan made movies. I haven't heard much about Faith, all I've seen is a bit of concept art, but not much else. Chastity on the other hand has been in production for a very long time. Seems like they are trying to make it as good as possible. Halo Faith seems like it's being rushed. So I'm more excited for Chastity, but it's only because I haven't seen anything from Halo Faith worth getting excited over.
