  • Dancing with Cammie to this song in 1958. Oh what can I do.....

  • And the man behind this great record was George Motola, one of the nicest and most talented guys I ever had the honor of knowing. He made some great records and died penniless thanks to those cheating record companies that took advantage of so many great artists in the 60"s. I know from whence I speak as I was one of those artists that was cheated out their songs and their money.

  • Love This song

  • this is a great song i love the oldies

  • i fucking love listening to oldies especially when i get high i enjoy the fuck out of it

  • The Shields version is far better then the Slades version. This is one of the rare instances where the cover is better then the original

  • The original was by the Slades from McCallum High School here in Austin, Texas. There version did not get the national attention that the Shields did. I like the Slades version better. pinkfloyd59 "an oldie, oldie lover till I die"

  • I remember this picture was taken in the early 80's I was a kid liviing in 1580 Duncan Ave in the City of Commerce. That's Bristow Parque! Before it was Bristow it was called East La park.. What you know about Lupe Ramos was my teacher at Bristow. Descanse en Paz Carlos Moreno you are one of the Legends of the East Side. The mural on the handball courts was made by the man on top "MAY GOD REST YOUR SOUL." You will always be missed.

  • Vero&Ruben's Song

    LoL:D

  • I wonder who's idea it was not to put drums on the track ? I think it would have been so much better

  • I know some of these dudes in the album cover. This picture was taken at Bristow Park in the City of Commerce, California in the early 80's. They're all from the Choppers 12 gang. Back then they didn't make a big deal about drinking in the park. My how times have changed.

  • You cheated, I know who you wanted to cheat with. You lied to me about never loving that person. That makes you a liar and a cheat. You took the easy way out and left with no explanation.

  • Y yo Que Tejas

  • ElRandy would not treat a woman like that. Tu Tejana would cut "them"off and you know it que no???

  • This was the version that was played by Dick

    Clark on Bandstand in 1958.

  • i love this video

  • Roseann...1958..Jamaica..I'm Jim..do you remember me...I lived upstairs....very sorry I ignored you...you were very nice and I think of you often...............long island

  • Amazing that this would be here. I used to sing a version of this when I did the bar band route back in the 70's with the Joe Vando Band

  • GREAT SONG...Check out the Slades version..which is the original.

  • interesting that this came out just 3 weeks after the Slades. This #12, the Slades #42. Both one-hit-wonders. The Shields did have a bigger record company, and the recording was a little more polished, maybe that made the differance. The Slades were white, so given 1958 attitude about black artists, you'd think that the white group would have done better. Like most of Pat Boone's covers.

  • IF NOT FOR PORKY CHEDWICK AT W.A.M.O. Pittsburgh,Pa THE SLADES PROBABLY WOULD HAVE BEEN THE "HIT". RANDY WOODS (OWNER OF DOT RECORDS)Knew how to pick em. MANY MOONS IN RADIO themojoman(.)com

  • Yeah,,BUT THIS WAS THE "HIT" version. On DOT records thanks to RANDY WOODS and PORKY CHEDWICK W.A.M.O. PITTSBURGH "OLDIES CAPITAL OF THE WORLD" THEMOJOMAN(.)COM
