Sinclair failed a polygraph on this issue. Every legitimate journalist has found Sinclair's story to be unsubstantiated. He refuses to present any of the proof that he claims to have.

He reminds me of a man I met once that accused me of killing his brother during the Vietnam war. I was born in 1975. Some people are simply good liars and will not show any signs of nervousness when doing so. Larry Sinclair is also a proven nutcase who has done all kinds of crazy things such as stalking the President, threatening people and even posted a video of himself on the internet attempting suicide. He has no evidence, has massive holes in his story and has a long criminal record.

@SneakySockPuppet For me this is the most important question to ask: Why should we believe Larry Sinclair? Based on what? Evidence? He has none. Has he shown himself to be trust worthy? No, he has been exposed as telling numerous lies related to this story. So why believe him? We can't know for a proven fact whether he is telling the truth or not because we weren't there when this incident allegedly took place. But we can use reason to reach on conclusion on whether or not to believe him.

@My what lies? I never heard a peep about any of this, and I read a ton of publications. One doesn't use "reason" (primarily) to come to a conclusion in a case like this. One gathers facts. You are immediately saying "he's a liar", but offering no proof of your allegation. Further, it is a logical fallacy to claim "if a person lied about 'x', they must be lying about 'y'". Why wouldn't you demand full investigation into the behavior of any govt entity? If LS is a liar, punish him.

The proof that he is a liar is his criminal record which is full of crimes of a deceptive nature. This guy has been lying to steal money his whole life. That is a mark on his credibility. He lied about contacting the Obama campaign in September of 2007 to ask Obama to come clean about his drug use. The info he says prompted him to contact them was not available until November 2007.

Sinclairwatch is run by a blogger who was skeptical of Larry's story and along with other bloggers decided to investigate it. I have spoken to her via email she seems like a normal person. We you should understand is that people have already investigated this story and found that it was not credible.

Again he has no evidence for his claims and had made enough lies surrounding the story to make me believe he is lying about the whole story. Everything written on Sinclairwatch has been verified with sources. I have followed this story almost sense Day 1 and know that most of their info is true. But if you doubt it you can look it up yourself.

@kenfo0 In early interviews he says he was ignored by the Obama campaign when he contacted him but then months later says he was contacted by Donald Young. Which is it was he ignored or contacted? He has absolutely no evidence for his claims. He can't keep the dates straight on when he contacted Obama. When you put the pieces together you have a man who has consistently lied to keep his story relevant and has no evidence corroborating his story. So his claims are not credible.

So long as he is not a threat to his safety he does not have to worry about Sinclair. Sinclair is getting nowhere with his lies. The Mainstream Media will not run his story because it is not credible. You can be punished for defamation but you have to prove defamation and that is not easy to do.

At the end of the day the burden of proof is on Larry to prove his allegations not Obama or anyone else to disprove them. Several news outlets investigated this story such as John M. Crewdson of the Chicago Tribune. Crewdson wanted the testimony of the limo driver before he would run Larry's story but he was never found.
