I hear the roots back to Coleman Hawkins and Ben Webster, which then extends into Bird, Sonny and Dexter, and of course onward. Terrific!

Nice Introduction which such a great sound! Is that horn a Mark VI? I like the way you bend the notes on the end of the firs bars of the melody.
