Ameriplan SCAM? Here's why I didn't join. This is only opinion

After researching Ameriplan I ended up becoming a business owner with their competitor. While I do feel AP made a lot of bad business, I think what they offer IS legit. It is very useful. However, I joined their competitor because #1 they are an honest company #2 their compensation plan is better #3 their back office & marketing strategies are much more advanced and #4 they have a million providers & cover every state while AP doesn't. I'll check out your biz opp btw :-)

Are you just dissing Ameriplan to promote Xango? I was in Xango for several months, I did have to talk to family and friends about a product that was very costly, in a very competative market and I spent over $600 on the product within about 3 months- don't get me wrong. I did like the product, but comparing these to companies- Ameriplan has been something people NEED at an affordable price. Plus the discounts work. Please don't go around dissing something, while promoting your own MLM.

Look just do the math. Ameriplan dental is $20/month. If you have 1 kid that gets braces and saves a few grand then that in itself paid for Ameriplan many times over. Hell, get the braces then cancel Ameriplan later if you really want to! It's not insurance so you don't have to worry about being dropped or anything like that.

How anyone can criticize Ameriplan is beyond me. It's like a AAA card. You get discounts and good rates with participating businesses. Simple.

Insurance vs Discount - Dan slams Ameriplan bec it's not insurance. The average household pays more than $500 /mo for health insurance. Ameriplan Total Health is under $40 /mo and it includes more people per average household than insurance. There are differences, but Ameriplan savings is HUGE & I have many testimonies. Longevity - Dan said "Ameriplan is over 5 yrs old." In Feb 2009 when Dan made this, Ameriplan was over 17 years old, now we're over 18 yrs old. Michael Lancto, $300k /yr

Dan says "health and wellness" is the way to go. I personally worked several big names in "health and wellness" only to find the competition is enormous. There are over 400 of these companies online and each say they have the best product, science-proven, patents, etc. They hype is often the highest you'll ever read. Nutritional products have the highest attrition rate also.

Yes i did thank you very much. With your service, my denist wanted me to pay $2,700 out of my pocket and with the insurance, I pay $375. I didn't know that it was a network marketing company until I listen to you guys, and about the 90% retention rate, the only reason why you would say that b/c you skills in sales.

If you do respond to me, please don't asked me to join your business b/c Ameriplan already gave me a bad taste in my mouth.

I'm glad I got into this business because millions of Americans actually can't afford dental insurance due to high monthly premiums. Not to mention the waiting periods, the annual limits, and the caps on certain procedures. Not even insurance companies cover 100%. I talk to people everyday who actually had dental insurance and were unhappy with it because they needed some major work done and ended up shoving out almost $1000 for it on top of their high insurance premiums. Maybe they aren't making it in network marketing because they don't have the support, training, tools, and the right vehicle?? Also, if you don't have a sales or network background, are you learning anything about it...esp. the different personality types, how to work with each type, and only mentor people who are trainable? I don't want to come across as angry, but I just don't believe its fair to knock a group, especially if you haven't been in it.

Ameriplan has been around for 17 yrs. We aren't the typical "Insurance agency" we don't have the paperwork, or headaches. We are glad we don't have juices, jams, jellies, potions or pills to push. Where are they getting their facts from? I know many people who have saved money.

Let me help your out. 98% of the people buy people into Ameriplan & only less than 2% use the service b/c it sucks. You'll save more money w/o the discount card.

@dee72deedee Have you actually used the service? Where did you hear that? If someone needs adult braces, there's not many insurance companies that will cover that. So not only do they pay the insurance premium, but full price for the braces. Ameriplan(R) helps lower that cost by about 50%. I think that's great considering that person would probably end up paying for something like that completely out-of-pocket anyway. We also have a high retention rate on our members (about 90%).
