Pretty cool dad. That's not a car you can wreck and just take to the body shop. A lot of work just finding OEM parts for it. Oh, and did you show her where you kept the spare ballast resistor ? Known issue with the ol' Mopars. One of my early rides was a 1967 GTX, Always wanted the Cuda', never had the chance to get one. Now they are very pricey
@GetsumJ Funny you should mention that ballast resistor. Went out in my 1971 Super Bee. Spent the afternoon yanking off the steering wheel (including that G%^&%&^ back plate!) to replace the ignition switch, didn't fix the problem. For those who don't know this....if your Mopar won't start (but you can hear it starting to run if you keep the key in the start position) it isn't a shorted ignition switch, replace the ballast resistor! And I thought I knew every Mopar trick....
First car I drove was a MK3 Ford Cortina (UK) and it was some basic scrap metal held to gether with string. Man, you really must trust your daughter to take your pride and joy along the road, first time too ;0)
The first car i drove was my dad's , 83' Bronco(not ur ordinary bronco, nice blue all new interior beautiful finished project ), manual tranny, very difficult at first but now i make that engine roar!! haha
Both of my sisters had their own Cudas. My older sister had a '70 383 3 speed Cuda and my younger sister had a '72 Barracuda with a 340 stroked to 360 or so with a 4 speed. My older sister decided she didn't want to pay for gas for her car so after sitting in the garage I did some talking and have inherited the car. Love MOPAR muscle. If I ever have to sell it I seriously think I will cry lol.
I know the info says learner's permit but when I got my license when I was 16, first car I got to drive was a '70 Hemi Challenger. I can share in the enthusiasm. Great lookin car.
I'll take em both!

I feel sorry for everyone who doesn't own this car. myself included.
i feel even worse for the people who stop at the lights next to this beast.
and i feel even more worse for the dumbass ricers who think they actually have the slightest chance of winning when the lights hit green.
