  • :) thats true.

  • (continued)

I've always wanted to visit Turkey. Gone are the days when Turkish and Greek people were enemies. Maybe next summer when I visit Greece again I'll make a short trip to Turkey too. Peace!

  • The ancient ruins shown here may be situated in Turkey but not too long ago the land was Greek.

Also, let's be perfectly clear that these are *Greek* ruins and are a testament to the great history and civilization that the Hellenic people have given to the world.

One would hope that the Turkish people would thank their lucky stars that they have all those ancient Greek ruins to attract tourists.Peace!

  • "..situated in Turkey but not too long ago the land was Greek" ... not to long ago Greece was Turkish land...just like most of the Balkans, Middle East and North Africa was. "Greece" was part of the Turkish Ottoman Empire thus was part of Turkey. It just so happened to be that the Greeks didnt inherit Western Anatolia and the historical sites you refer to as they lost the battle.

  • ..And also, i wouldnt call them "*Greek*" sites but rather Byzantine/Eastern Roman ..as far as i'm aware there is a difference. Whether the sites are Bynzatine, Hittite, Arab, Roman, Slavic or Persian they are in Turkey thus are Turkish sites. The Greek people should thank their lucky stars they were awarded independence from Us as a gesture and still hold the Parthenon and...oh thats about it- isnt it?

  • ...I personally think the Hellenic Republic and Turkiye Cumhuriyeti should unite as there culture/history/civillisation is practically the same anyway. Peace

  • Oh and just for the record..."all those ancient Greek ruins to attract tourists". Incorrect! Statistically its the resort holidays that attract the most tourists. That is Bodrum, Marmaris, Side, Fethiye, Antalya which are turkish created and knock the socks of Greek Island resorts. Turkish tourism 2005 = 21million, Greek tourism 2005 = 15 million...jealous

  • "not too long ago the land was Greek" well don't lose it then if our so jealous.

"Turkish people would thank their lucky stars that they have all those ancient Greek..." What else have you done since? It's Turkey's now so they don't need to thank anyone.

I have never been to Turkey or Greece. Greece, stop bullying Turkey 'cause they are cool, and so are you, so let's stop this right here shall we?

  • Turkey has alwayz been a succesful country, the ottoman empire, the food, the culture, the language, the muzix and the power. im just proud to have half of turkish cypriot in my blood. =)

  • Ahaha.

    You crack me up [;

The fact that there aren't many pretty things or good things (except the things you stole, like Baclava for example) in Greece doesn't mean you should comment in Every Turkish Video, hm.

You just think everything is yours don't you?

It's from Turkey now, get over it.

  • do you know what music is used on this?

  • the images of structures you are talking about are situated in T U R K E Y (ephesus, capadocia .etc) there is no images in the video taken from greeks... ta ta
