I really like this! It reminds me a bit of the Nike Girl Effect Video. I've lived in West Africa though and I've noticed that 1) the equality that NGO's try to instill is based on western values, not West African ones. 2) it's social change and not the loosely enforced laws that create healthier environments for women (look at Tostan and genital cutting).

Its disgusting how the world can be so fucked up. I strongly support equality. I think both women AND MEN should start fighting for equality. Equality isn't just getting women all these rights. Equality is getting the same rights for EVERYONE. A woman should be able to be a business owner just like how a man should be able to be a stay at home father.

Equality isn't just passing laws, equality is defending everyone's, and i mean EVERYONES, right to live their life peacefully and happily. :)

@FinaIAeon It's not disgusting, because at the end we can say that we fought for what we have at that moment, and we are the way we are not because of some random biological sureness, but due to our strenght and bravery. Life without fight is just boring and meaningless. It's sad ,what these women have to go through to prove a cause, but they're getting stronger because of these misfortunes.

@FinaIAeon My dad worked so hard to earn money to go to school and only earned enough to go to the worst school in his village. The students were so bad, they canceled their exam results. My dad had to beg for money again to take exams again. He wrote letters to billionaire's foundations such as Rockerfeller. They responded that he needs to join an organization in his country that they can donate money to him through, but since he lived in a village, he had no access to these type of things.

@quitejaded I think men should be encouraged to attend school as much as women too. It's quite sad that we have all this focus on females that men are being turned a cold shoulder to. I wish there were more organizations that focused on bigender encouragement rather than just one or the other.

I will never believe in the post 1960's experimental idea known as "equality" there is no such thing as equality. How do I know this? Because the differences in the world are HUUUUGE and differences are the opposite of equality.

Maybe if people like you started to prove that you were equal as oppose to demanding it. We would believe you more.

I think all these "equality movements" we've had has actually screwed up America. Not to mention they dont work. Blacks are poorer now then they were during segregation and women are less happy now that there in the work place.
