Greeks and Turks in England get along together fine. And this friendship will one day find it's way back to Cyprus, as many Greeks and Turks are emigrating back to Cyprus and bringing their friendships with them.

The war was totally out of order because in the end both sides lost family and friends.

The old days are the old days.

Honour the memories of the dead but live for today.

but remember the saying 'never trust a greek bearing gifts' and the same can be said of the greek cypriots! the island is separated for a reason! greek cypriot EOKA started the ethnic cleansing of turkish cypriots until the mother land TURKEY came to our rescue so you can brainwash the rest of europe and call it a barbaric invasion but without turkey's intervention there would be no turkish cypriots left!!!!! WE CAN NEVER LIVE TOGETHER

EOKA hadntn anything to do with ethnic cleansing. EOKA fought for the freedom of cyprus of the british and the unite with greece. i recomend you read more cypriot history and search about EOKA B'. they were killing turkcypriots and communists.. it s needed to say that they killed more greekcypriots. try read more history

My friend, turks and greeks of cyprus can live together in peace and did so for a very long long time.

if it wasn't for the constant interference of turkey, greece, uk - my country would have been a very peaceful and culturally rich place right now.

everytime you read bad comments swearing at each other you will notice 8/10 times the person is from either greece or turkey or a settler to cyprus from those nations claiming citizenship. n d rare cypriot whom is old!

some turks n greeks do get along and live together.. i have bre greek friends n im a turk cyp..

i fink the main reason is coz of pples nan n grandads.. they were brought up to think the opposite cypriots are pigs and fags and to hate on them.. therefore they wanna pass it on to the new generation.. which makes the kids bring back the past of fights..
