  • So he doesn't like Eskimos ?

  • Majestic.

  • i could listen to this over and over and over and over

  • "AND THE POOR WHITE REMAINS ON THE CABOOSE OF THE TRAIN " we are all pawns in their game.If we don't wake up soon and unite against the wave of greed and desolation the caboose of the train might be looking mighty good.

  • who the hell would dislike this

  • "We're only a Pawn in their Game" Bob Dylan Truth teller and Genius before his time.

Medgar Evers will never be forgot with this wonderful tribute RIP ღஜLove&Peaceஜღ

  • This song blew my head right off!!!

  • r.i.p Medgar Evers

  • I'm a long term Dylan fan. This is the first time i have seen this footage. i am once again blown away by this man.

  • thanks much for uploading it again, it's my favourite version of the song!

  • ditto

  • This is so amazing, this song gives me chills everytime I hear it. I love this man.

  • Wanted so much to see this video restored to YouTube. Without question the most extraordinary song and singer. Dylan at his purest.

  • this is the best vocal performance i've ever heard from dylan! thanks for the upload

  • never heared a more beautiful voice

  • damn he blinks a lot

  • what a performance

  • brilliant song

  • is this before he sold his soul to the devil?

  • @chikagovec elling one's soul to the Dvvil" is arcana from uneducated bluesmen taken literally by those who are both uneducated and superstitious. The "Devil" is a symbol, not a being -- any mmore than "God" is an old man with a long white beard sitting in a throne in the sky.

That "God," not-so-by-the-way, is a dictatorial tyrant. An embodiment of the politidcs of fear and terror.

  • Definitely one of the best, if not tee best, lyricist ever.

  • we seriously need someone like this today!

  • My God this performance. It don't get better then that.

  • Took balls to sing this @ the March on Washington.

  • He looks like a kid here. How old is he? Anybody know?

  • @gcahn2

    around 22 or 23

  • Dylan should have been President of the United States. At least he was always prepared to stand naked (metaphorically speaking.)

  • What a version!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I weep every time I listen to this song . . . tragic and beautiful, because it is so true.

  • Hey guys, l am listening to this great song while thinking of my neighbour's propensity to nark for a "local authority". What a state we are in when people who live off the state become the state's informants.

  • thx for sharing :)

  • Did Dylan write this song?

  • @northhaven100 Indeed he did, my friend.

  • @northhaven100 Meddgar was an NAACP lawyer working on voter registration; he was assinated for doing so by Byron Delah Beckwith, who was repeatedly acquitted until decades later with the integration of juries, despite the evidence being conclusive, and the case open and shut.

    .

  • @northhaven100 Dylan wrote every song.

  • Beautiful!

  • WOW!!!! Amazing!!! what a poet, song writer, legend.

  • del maestro dylan, se sabe casi todo, pero de su familia nada...pareciera k nacio, crecio un poco y se esfumo a buscar su camino , como lo hizo.....xq no recuerdo k haya fotos familiares de el...

  • Amazing.

  • know what it is to loose somebody in such a way and being from northern Ireland never thought about it from the political's killer point of veiw but such is peace built on such tragedies a weak foundation thats bound to fail

  • 14 more pawns and we can begin a chess game!!! ¬¬

  • yes..modern music is lost

  • @enriqueromerobasarra ...yes it is...nothing meaningful coming out of anything these days.

  • The best performance out there of this brilliantly insightful masterpiece. Listening to this and other Dylan songs drift out from my older sister's bedroom as young boy, opened up a world of empathy towards people who didn't have bedrooms or very much else. Thank you Bob.

  • the master of the lyric right here

  • Bob=God. Modern music=Satan.

  • One person missed the 'like' button, refreshed it, and re-liked it

  • Dylan really speaks truths. So many that it took me my whole life of listening over and over to start to understand the injustice he sees.

  • so much wisdom at such a young age...he is just amazing

  • C'est excellent, à écouter sans modération !

  • C'est une icone ce chanteur là !!

  • The person that disliked must agree with the rasis whites

  • Thank you for sharing these. Folks like you are our only hope, ultimately all we've got are music and philosophy!

  • Imagine what might have happened if we had the media then that we have now? How much different our world would be today! Maybe we could have stopped the "Masters of War" and found the answers "Blowing in the Wind" and perhaps seen BOB sing the words "It's Alright, Ma I'm Only..." Laughing. Thanks Bob

  • YES YES I love that these videos are popping up! Thank you so much! Bob to me is like a modern prophet, passing powerful messages through his songwriting. Blasphemy? Sue me. :D

  • to keep up his hate so he never thinks straight to kill with no pain like a dog on a chain he ain't got no name

  • glorious

  • Very powerful lyrics.

Fantastic audio quality for an outdoor recording too.

  • agree with jamieG2177
