I used to use a PC and it crashed all the time, it was slow as shit, it had pop-ups and viruses, and then I got windows seven, it was a little faster but there was still viruses and it crashed.
So I went to FutureShop and tried out the Imac and the Macbook pro...HOLYSHIT!!!!!!!! They load SO fucking fast, they don't crash, it's not possible to have a virus on it, it has WAY better programs, and Mac is so right.

REAL computer people call it the kernel, not the "core". also, how can something be fully 64 bit and fully 32 bit? thats like saying you're fully white and fully black - you're either one or the other. besides, mac isn't fully 64 bit because linux is the only os with a released 64 bit flash. both windows and linux can use opencl too (i use it on my linux setup).

i don't really see the purpose of a 64 bit efi. in fact it can be a bad thing because the ROM or CMOS chips will get filled up quicker (since 64 bit software is often more disk consuming than 32 bit, then i'd figure it would be considerably more so vs 8 bit) altho, ik the efi for macs it is more useful than windows or linux setups. and for the last time - LINUX DOES HAVE OPENCL. sure its not as depended upon as it may be in mac but thats not necessarily bad because its not required in linux

I used to use a PC and it crashed all the time, it was slow as shit, it had pop-ups and viruses, and then I got windows seven, it was a little faster but there was still viruses and it crashed.
So I went to FutureShop and tried out the Imac and the Macbook pro...HOLYSHIT!!!!!!!! They load SO fucking fast, they don't crash, it's not possible to have a virus on it, it has WAY better programs, and Mac is so right.

you're right, real computer people don't care that much about the look, but don't you mean kernel? REAL computer people call it the kernel, not the "core". also, how can something be fully 64 bit and fully 32 bit? thats like saying you're fully white and fully black - you're either one or the other. besides, mac isn't fully 64 bit because linux is the only os with a released 64 bit flash. both windows and linux can use opencl too (i use it on my linux setup).

@schmidtbag ITs Called a Core Because Darwin is made of XNU, MACH and BSD. Thats 3 Different items to make the Kernel. Mac OS X Has a 64 bit and 32 bit kernel (K32 and k64) Also Makes all Extensions are Drivers written in full 32 and 64bit, Also all System Apps, extensions and development tools are too. And Linux Does not has Open CL. Its only Ported to BSD so nice try. Also Macs use 64 Firmware while PC's use 8. So look up your stuff before you do the "Real Computer People say this.." Bullshit

i admit you did thoroughly explain the core and kernel things, i'm not a mac user so i'm not really sure. but, i'm 100% sure linux does support open cl, and i can easily prove it. like i said, i use it on my laptop. theres proof of it EVERYWHERE, including youtube. and what do you mean "64 firmware". i have no idea what you're referring to

Apple EFI: is 64-bit
Linux Has No Open CL. Only some Apps can use it Everything in Mac OS X Has OpenCL Strings built in to the Graphic Card.

i don't really see the purpose of a 64 bit efi. in fact it can be a bad thing because the ROM or CMOS chips will get filled up quicker (since 64 bit software is often more disk consuming than 32 bit, then i'd figure it would be considerably more so vs 8 bit) altho, ik the efi for macs it is more useful than windows or linux setups. and for the last time - LINUX DOES HAVE OPENCL. sure its not as depended upon as it may be in mac but thats not necessarily bad because its not required in linux

@schmidtbag Show Me Linux Has it. And No that was a FAIL, 64 bit uses less disc activity because the CPU can use more then 4 GB of RAM for the System/Apps it can use Over 16 TBs Of RAM. Meaning if a App is 2 GB it will be loaded to the RAM on 64 bit, on 32bit only about a 1/4 of that will be loaded. So Fail Again on your post. EFI is Going to be the New standard so again your argument is invalid. O and the ROM/CMOS bull your just talking out of your ass now. Give me Proof Linux Has OpenCL

you're a dick. first of all, i said go look it up. you can find linux and windows opencv projects all over the internet including youtube. secondly, disk activity, which i wasn't even talking about, does not equal ram usage efficiency. i was saying that 64 bit software is OFTEN more storage consuming than 32 bit, which is a known provable fact. efi is proprietary and considered unnecessary, so altho it may some day become the standard, that won't be for a while

most ROMS and CMOS chips aren't really greater than 8mb. i didn't say i knew whether it was going to get filled up quicker, it was a presumption. calm down, i wasn't even trying to argue but your dickhead attitude got in the way. i'm not a mac hater but i sure hate some of the people who are obsessed with it

Who Says Apple Uses ROM/CMOS, If its a Different Firmware its a good chance its a Different Chip
64bit Takes More Because its More Powerful, Speedier, and More Accurate on calculations. Plus it can Store more.
Yes There are Projects but are the being used in the system? WIth the Applications? No Meaning there is nothing in use/being used meaning that Windows/Linux does not have it in there system. its a Add-on not a built in System
