shaolin monks was shit....prefer deception than armageddon and at that time was paying more attention to adventure(G o W, etc)...hate DC so paid no attention to mk vs dc. SO I hope this well brings back the love for all lovers of mk who started mk during the classic (sega,snes,ps1,n64)...only you can understand me.

well after deception it looks like muggy will be back. so beware. I played 1,2,3 and umk but was still young n was more into street fighter... became a pro in trilogy and mk4 and found love for the game...never adapt the into 3D with deadly alliance...so pay more attention to mk4 n became invinsible...after get bored cause they weren't no real challenge I try deception...after a late start in 3D it takes a while before i can keep up wit the pros...

I've been an MK fan for years and there have been ups and downs in the series. MK: Deadly Alliance & Mythologies (up) Special Forces & Armageddon (down) well graphically disappointing anyway oh and MKVDC great visuals but very disappointing "vibe" it just didn't feel like the dark but appealing Kombat that we've all come to adore. But THIS looks like it's going to exceed my expectations AND desires for an MK game. Looks amazing Ed, can't wait!

It's not all cartoon looking like most fighting games (street fighter, tekken, etc.) And the fact that it's dark and dirty, which is gritty. Take Diablo for example. The first two games have the gritty look to them, and if you've seen any trailers for Diablo 3, they look cartoonish, almost like world of warcraft.

the art style and themes are amazing. this really is what i've been waiting for. I didn't bother to try the MvC but I know this game is going to be a MUST BUY.
