  • Jesus is REAL, I know that He is through experience. (Truly, and to be with Jesus is my deepest desire).

Yet I go out, end up sinning, thinking it gives me love, when all it gives me is a headache afterwards. It's really difficult.

  • wtf :S? God just came down and told me to kill some people, should i go ahead and do it? Cos i love God n all that jazz

  • so does Mark ever talk about womens responsibility and duties to men or is it always one sided and geared towards what men should always do for women?

  • @suchafool990 Duh! Look it up, its not rocket science to go to the channel & check the titles you lazy person.

  • 1 John 3:19-24.

  • I agree with Mark but not completly. Before I was a Christian I felt guilt inside, conviction, of not wanting to sin or do things because I knew they were wrong (yet, I didn't have any real Biblical knowledge). Now, I understand that God was leading me to Him. But I don't think just because you feel guilt it means "ok I'm a Christian." By what I read in the Bible, Christians can't sin (per se). I'm talking about deadly sins, fornication etc... However, God's is shaping us in his image and we are

  • @cityonahillband going to make mistakes. Maybe character, our temper, some other small things. When I said Christians can't sin I don't mean literally like they will never fall. I mean it is not in our nature. For example, before it was our nature to sin. We were slaved to sin, even if we didn't want to do sin, we ended up doing it because we were enslaved. Now we are enslaved to righteousness, that our new nature. Will we fall sometimes, perhaps, but it's not our nature to live in sin.

  • I know Im a sinner, and honestly I hate sinning but feel like im surrounded by all bad things, all these temptations I hardly refuse in my face. About 2 years ago or so.. I used to go to Bible Studies, Preaching, and Sunday Mass.. I knew God and had a connection with him.. that I've lost now.. I want it back, I need it back.. but at the same time.. I dont know what to do to get it back.. Im so weak.

  • @hanzyb0ne

If you want it back, you're going to have to turn from your sins and face Him. You know He loves you and you know having Him is worth more than anything, but there's a cost to pay to retain your relationship. Just like a wife can't go sleeping around with other men and keep a love relation with her husband. Your first loyalty must be to please Him & he'll take care of you from there. If you slip up, "if we confess our sin, He is faithful and just to forgive and cleanse..." (1Jn1:9)

  • @hanzyb0ne

Rom 6:15-16 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

-I'll pray for you. But remember, the parable of the sower.. some seeds get choked by the cares of this life, you're going to have to root them out if you don't want that happening.

  • @JamesJon1187 Thank you so much. :)

  • @hanzyb0ne

You're welcome. I hope it helps.

  • Everyone, be honest....

Sinning is fun, if having fun means committing sins, why does god not allow (in a sense), fun?

  • @123vrak because sin will lead to death. i use to think like you too until i sinned my way into a hole. then i repented out of fear of hell (not because i wanted to give up sin). eventually the joy, peace, love, longsuffering, etc. manifested in my spirit.

  • @123vrak Well, I love Jesus and it brings me joy to grow in him every day. I will be honest... sinning can be fun, of course. Human nature desires adventure and sometimes rebellion and danger, which sin can provide. Drugs, sex, being popular, etc. all give some kind of fullfillment. BUT when I followed sin, it led down a path of nothingness. Serving Jesus is an adventure and can be dangerous even! But that path leads to purpose and joy and being intimate with God. That's been my experience.

  • (from the last message) eventually obeying God led to a joy and peace i never experienced before then i began to Love God and hate evil. True story. some of us are just that selfish. thats why the fear of God is the beginning of all wisdom.

  • @icedupentertainment

    Praise God!

  • I have the answer to this because i was in the same situation recently. the only thing that will work on that guy is the FEAR OF GOD. i didn't care about Gods love, i loved sin, i didn't want to change. sin made me happy even though it kept me depress (weird huh). The only thing that saved me was the FEAR OF GOD. a preacher had the balls to tell me about hell and that i was going to go there. i read the bible then the Holy Spirit convicted me. i was scared to death. so i obeyed God out of fear.

  • yeah religion is boring, so I dont waste my time with it. like what difference does it make. only thing you get is personal gratification. doesnt make you better or worse at anything. and if your already content and happy with the way things are what does it matter if you praise jesus or not. plus sex is great. young people should try it sometime

  • The message of the cross is foolishness to those that are perishing.

  • @EDWARD8478

At first I read "The message of the cross is foolishness" and I was like what??

Then I read the second half of your sentence. This reminded me to be slow to speak,

    and slow to judge.

  • Proof You Were Never Born A Sinner!

  • 6:00 that's the key. it's so scary to take that step. but the most healing will come from it.

  • Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now

  • Wow! At 2:40 is key. It is not enough to know the truth. The demons know it, believe it and are afraid of God. But not enough to do right, because they love not the truth. Apparently, he was just a church member and never really made up his mind to follow Christ - just go to church.

  • what a horrendous story...

  • he knows the scriptures but like satan can' t live HOLY

  • @youngster1559 one: I'm not your bro.

Two: how can you be a slave to your own sin? Doesn't make any sense!

A sin is a religious term describing a violation of a moral rule.

Ps: your born a sinner right? Till you get on your knees and suck Jesus. Right? Ok! Question: did you have a choice to be born or not? Answer is no.

So it's the same like being born in a black slave family. Are you going to fight for your rights? Or just be a slave for life?

For you... Slave for life. Good on you! Now shu

  • @DurexDurpaneu2

Being in sin is a state of being, not simply an act of defying God. Humans are weak and mortal, we are either slaves to sin (although willing, having no choice in the matter), following our own impulses and desires, or we are freed from these chains to be what we were created to be, to choose to be a willing slave to Christ. And of course, the Bible states that when we choose this we are eventually elevated to be (basically) almost equal to Jesus Christ himself.

    Good times.

  • yeah thats the hardest thing, having to let someone go because they just wont listen :(

  • "A good tree, bears good fruit. A bad tree bears bad fruit"

  • @Domodeath - It is possible to prepare yourself in order to be available for service to the master, thus changing your 'status' - this is not fixed, or written in stone. God is not into fatalism - which is a pagan doctrine....

    .

"in a great house there are not only vessels of gold & silver, but also of wood & clay; some to honour & some to dishonour. If a man therefore purges himself from [iniquity], he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified & ready for the master's use..." 2 Tim 2:20

  • James 1:12

  • Driscoll and John PIper both wrongly give the impression that God is the author of sin. ie

    .

They claim God in his total sovereignty brought people into being who are incapable of obedience

    .

They then claim that God (as a deliberate chosen intention) ordained that these people not be given a viable opportunity to escape their woeful condition.

    .

Then they claim responsibility for this outcome rests with the person so bound into this fate with no means of escape.

    .

    How they misrepresent God!

  • @cornwallsteve sin came through adam, NOT God. They both acknowledge that.

  • @janeym - it's very common for Calvinists to claim that nothing in this universe happens without the express active intention of God for every event to occur - like Satan is a kind of glove puppet. This is absurd, and denies the holiness and righteousness of God who states in the Bible he doesnt want certain things to happen, that then do occur. This is no threat to his sovereignty as he soverignly intends free moral choice. Reformed Calvinism denies this most essential feature of creation.

  • Ps: dont ever do what you feel is good and right if Jesus said no. You must obey him first, then he'll love you, like the good slave that you are. That is all.

  • @DurexDurpaneu2 I'd rather be a slave to Jesus, than a slave to my sin, any day of the week bro!

  • @jesusisminealways lol he must have forgoten about me when I looked for him... Now he must be afraid of me. If he's not, I'll make him.

  • ! WARNING !

The Bible says saved Christians CAN become sinners and fall back into death:

"Brothers, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins."

    (James 5:19)

  • only God can bring people out of sin and closer to him.

  • Comment removed

  • I really don't know who to come clean with, I don't know if I can trust my youth paster, he'll probably just say "That's ok"

  • @desasterz me too, don't worry your not alone.

  • Paul sums this up in saying,"The things I want to do,I do not, yet, the things I do not want to do,I do anyways! There is nothing new under the sun.

  • Good answer.

  • Oops, meant to give five stars lol. Anyway, great message. I hear so many people say that if you sin you're "not a Christian", so this is very comforting to me, it's all about where your heart lies. Do I sin? Yes, happens a lot unfortunately, and I hate it. Do I want to? Absolutely not. Thanks for this!

  • He says: "if you're not a christian, your deepest desire is to sin". That doesn't make sense. I'm not a christian, but my deepest desire is not to sin. Why would that be my deepest desire?

  • @Bergen79 your sin is putting something/someone else on the throne rather than Jesus. You can say "Well, I do good deeds. I like to help people. I'm a caring husband. etc..." But it's a sin because you are not loving God over all things. You glorify yourself or your life, but not Him. That is a sin, harmless as it may seem. Denying Christ as our savior is a sin.

I'm don't want to judge you, but I hope this helps you understand.

  • @Bergen79 hey there, i think whenn ppl think of sin, they immediately think of murder, stealing, adultery, etc. and while those are all big sins, what we often forget is that sin can be as "harmless" as not having Jesus at the heart of all we do. So even though there are lots of non-christian ppl who don't go out doing "bad" things with malicious intent, their ultimate desire is not founded on a relationship with Christ. Like jeremyfrancis said, to deny Christ is itself a sin - hope that helps:)

  • I continually fear that I'll end up like Mark's friend.

  • take what mark said and apply it to yourself. take a true look at your heart. do you sin? yes. does the holy spirit convict you when you sin? if so, you are filled with the holy spirit. if not, you should reevaluate what you want, and you can be redeemed by the price that christ paid.

  • Ya me too

  • Sex is hard for anybody. I love Jesus and I

know I'm a christian, but I wont lie. it's hard

not to think about girls, with the way most

of them dress these days. I can easily get

thrown off by a short skirt these days. It's

a struggle. All I can do I keep getting into

the word, but everyday is a struggle, with

fine women everywhere. Thank God at

least I have Jesus, because I'd be

    screwed without grace.

  • I'm exactly the same

  • YEAH.

  • @moptopdrummer

Dude, I absolutely feel you on this; I'm the exact same way. I read the Bible everyday, I do a few hours of Bible studying everyday, pray continuously, but it's hard to stop feeding my flesh instead of my soul and spirit. I get convicted every time, and I'm slowly progressing, so it's good. Just keep growing in His word, and that appetite for sin will dissolve sure enough some time.

  • No sex between a man and woman who are married isnt a sin, but sex outside of marrige is a six cause it is fornication.

  • sex outside of marriage is a sin, not sex

  • yes thats your belief but you still frown upon people who are still married and have sex just to have children not for pleasure, taht is still frowned upon and dont say i dont know anything i was raised christian till the time i was 14 then i realized theres actually different religions. Im just saying if your married its not a sin to have sex then is it? so do it becuase you love them and for pleasure and for having a child together

  • i know that but you guys also condem people who are married and want to have sex for pleasure as a sin sex is for pleasure why else did god put so many nerve endings down there if its not for pleasure

  • hi countrychick...if you listen to some more of driscoll`s sermons you will see he is saying the same as you - i listened to one the other day and he said the exact same thing, that some churches are anti-sex whereas he said that is not what God intended rather he intends sex as a gift for married couples to enjoy...I know where you are coming from, some churches can be very stuffy

  • ive been to many churches in my are when i was christian i went to all of them they all say the same thing

  • Not all churches say the same things. And no, we don't frown upon people that have sex for pleasure in a marriage, there is nothing wrong with that, in fact an entire book in the Bible (Song of Songs) is dedicated to discussing the pleasures that can be found in marriage. (Super repetitive, I know, but whatevs lol)

  • @countrychick000 Read 1 Corinthians 6:13, it says: Someone else will say, "Food is for the stomach, and the stomach is for food."

Yes; but God will put an end to both. The body is not to be used for sexual immorality, but to serve the Lord; and the Lord provides for the body.

    Then read 1 Cor 7:2-5...

I'll just let you Google that one. Don't put your faith in religion; put your faith in God and His Word. He loves you.

  • It's about giving pleasuure to the other, not using the other for your pleasur, thats why they call it "making love"

  • And they'll find out why

They'll soon run out of joy and that would be considered "life and normal" and wemen will look at their brests and think... "Why were men really atracted and encouraged to be with me when they started growing... I know how sexual organs joign together, but what about these? Why do I have them? What are they for?"

  • @moptopdrummer -- You're absolutely right, it is hard & abstinence would not be possible without grace, the Holy Spirit, a way of escape(1Cor. 10:13), and a decision honor Christ with our bodies.

  • @moptopdrummer read how to fight for joy by john piper

  • @moptopdrummer Its not just dress its how every mainstream site is set up how movies are set up etc its all geared around Satan.

  • @moptopdrummer It's one thing to look at something and thinks he or she is hot, it's another to have a fantasy of having that 'hot guy or girl' in bed. But may Jes- help you in your struggle as well as any other sins we all struggle witth.

  • @moptopdrummer "it's hard not to think about girls, with the way most of them dress these days.” Really? I don’t hold much value in what you would call “the fleash” Sexual attraction helps in a relationship but its not the most important thing.

Its only a struggle if your focus is on physical appearance.

  • @NightHawkBomber001

Would that most people had such magnificent willpower.

  • @moptopdru this is so not the way, sons of god should live.Do you know what makes it hard for you? it is because you believe you should not watch them. - And if you did? So what! Are we weak and in bondage to sin,so that we muast becareful not to look in the wrong direction? Man if that is your life, you are so full of fear that it is no wonder, that these things havepower over you. A hot woman could offer herself to me and I would (and did) say no with a smile. We dont need no "thou shalt not"

  • The strenght of sin is the law. And thereis no law given to them that are in Christ. We are righteous. We are not sinners. Who told you not to look at women? If nobody would have told you, you wouldnt know that it is such a "horrible!!" thing to do and it would not be so big inyour consciousness. I love people.I dont look at them selfishly. - The things forwich you condem yourself do rule you. Jesus did not condem you but love you. You think Jesuswas afraidto go to Mary Magdalene?

  • @moptopdrummer I pray that God, renews your strength everyday. Take care x

  • hey roac7777, if youre gonna be so shortsighted at least be original. richard dawkins does that idiot act better than you, my friend. also, comparing a myhical Greek fable character to God is not even possible. theres no evidence supporting zeus. and why are you wandering on mark driscoll's posts anyways? its obvious youre going through as many as you can b/c youre searching. come out the closet and get to know God. not the "magic teapot" or whatever retarded comparison you laughably posed.

  • Dude that could also mean that your someone who wants to be christian

  • I mean God & Jesus dont exist. There is absolutely no evidence that Jesus existed. Ive looked and researched this thouroughly.

There were hundreds of people named Jesus at the time as there were hundreds of prophets at the time.

The story of Jesus birth is the same story used about Mithras, a Roman God well before the "coming of Christ" read it if you dont believe me.

Jesus is the greatest story ever SOLD

  • this is true during the maccabean period there were many false prophets

however this does not disprove that Jesus Christ is who He claims to be

i wonder mate how did you end up inthis video?

also you said you think people can beleive what the choose to, why come and try and disprove our beleif?

  • Why did I come on this site, well I think its important to open peoples minds to fact and truth.

Its up to the individual what they believe in but everyone deserves a chance to realise what is true. By reading and research one can find it. Religion numbs the brain. As Karl Marx once said "Religion is the opium of the people"

  • its opiate of the people

i know i have read marx,

i was once an atheist brother card carrying one at that and proud of it

christians also beleive in opening peoples minds tto the facts and truth

  • Opiate or Opium the message has the same meaning.

Christians believe in opening peoples minds, not so. Like all religions it blinds peoples minds.

  • sorry i beleive you missed my point

we are not all un-educated unread close minded people you take us to be

    '

Christians believe in opening peoples minds, not so. Like all religions it blinds peoples minds. '

expand on that please, simply making a statement does not make it empirical

  • I never said you were uneducated.

I think religion blinds peoples outlook on life. People follow and believe in scripture. "It must be true because it says so in the Bible" kind of attitude is blind. Religion is also oppressive especially Islam but also Christianity. Sex before marriage is frowned upon so is homosexualty. Both these acts are natural and a basic fundamental human right.

There are only 2 evils where sex is concerned. 1. Rape 2. Paedophillia. Islam condones these acts.

  • Umm.... homosexuality carries the dealth penalty in several Islamic states. Also if I may, from what I've seen, a great amount of crimes have been been stemmed from premaritial sex, sure it's good and it can be harmless but if all of humanity practiced abstinance it would lead to a better society. That's the principle of Christianity I believe, is striving to make society a better place, if every person were to follow scripture and obey every commandment society would be perfect

  • alas this is not possible due to the fall of man, but I do believe we should at least strive to follow the bible for really everything that is written is for our own benefit in the long run. Don't murder; obvious why we shouldn't, steal; the same, covet; would stop theft; premarital sex; pass STD's, pregnancies, loss of self-worth, destruction of marriges, you can see where I'm going with this

  • Follow the Bible, no thanks it condones rape, genocide and intolerance. Stds can be avoided by using condoms.

You dont need religion, morals do not come from the Bible, it is an inbuilt genetic code that is within us.

Do you mean to say that you are only good because u think there is a divine policeman in the sky who will punish you if you are bad. If so you really are not good but a coward.

  • I've never said I was good, far from it infact, iv'e done many sindul things and I'm not proud of it. Also I don't recall where the bible condones rape, genocide, or intolerance, if you would present a verse from the bible that would be nice instead of just throwing random statements out there. No, I don't attempt to be perfect because I believe I'll be punished by some "divine policeman in the sky" , I want to be good so I can make life easier for my fellow man and because I want to please God.

  • And if you do argue that morals are built from genetic code that is within us, then I would argue yes, without religion we would have no morals. God created our DNA structure therefore he created the morals that we practice. Of course since you don't believe in a God you'l argue that it's just evolution, but why would we, of all species on this planet, in this universe, be gifted with morals and higher thinking, seems far fetched to say it's mere coincidence. And condoms cant prevent other things

  • God didnt create our DNA evolution and natural selection did.

We are gifted with the type of brain that we have because of evolution. Instead of just reading the Bible read scientific books on evolution. They are factual not fantasy.

"Condoms cant prevent other things" - condoms are only made to prevent unwanted pregnancies and stds and to allow a couple to have sex without any fears of these things.

They are not made for anything else

  • lol we came from monkeys????do you believe in hell?

  • There is no hell as there is no heaven

  • And what if you're wrong?

  • What if Im wrong, what if Im wrong about Zeus existing or Thor, Apollo, Neptune or the magic flying teapot.

  • If you're wrong then I guess we won't be seeing you later... :-/

  • Wrong about what? I could be wrong about the existence of 'The magic flying teapot' or unicorns or Zeus, Apollo, Odin or Thor.

  • your silly.i think you know better

  • Well at least you are honest, I would hate it if everyone thought like you. Your views are the reason I dislike religion with your false statements, bigotry and intolerance.

"If all humanity practised abstinance" what a load of crap, humanity would soon be extinct if it were not for the lust gene. Lust is a good thing, it gives us desire for the opposite sex, or same sex if you prefer.

Scripture is intolerance based on myth

  • 1. The definition of lust is ~ Intense or unrestrained sexual craving.

How do you get good from Intense or unrestrained sexual craving? Honestly you don't have a clue what your talking about do you? It's possible to have sexual desire without it being lustful. 3. What have I said that is false, instead of being a hypocrite, list what I have said is false with backed up credible evidence, 4. bigotry and intolerance are the same things numnuts, do you think before you talk?

  • I thought you would jump on the lust word. The word does not mean unrestrained sexual craving. It means a strong desire for sexual gratification which is different altogether.

  • You may interpret lust to mean that, but it doesn't change the fact that the official definition is unrestrained sexual craving. and you fail to answer my other questions

  • What other questions, ask away and I will answer.

  • Comment removed

  • one question can you see wind.....or air,,,,,,,.they are real but yet you believe it because of the facts not because you have seen it.....and yet many times in my life I have see the hand of God and I am in awe ..God is real..........in the end your loss.....think about it......

  • Wind and air is part of the phsiological make up of our planet, that is science.

Your god, the god of Abraham, that is Christianity, Islam and Judaism does not exist, he has not been scientifically proven. Its only your faith which says he exists.

For me faith is not enough

  • ...you believe there is air there because someone told you its there you cant see ..but you can feel it....same way I feel God I cant see him.....but I know he is real and there................

  • No chaltenango, I dont believe there is air because someone told me, its a scientific fact borne out by research and investigation.

You believe in God because of faith you have no scientific evidence of his existence at all.

Does Zeus exist, you will say no, I say how do you know he does not, you cannot see him yet thousands of people used to some 2-5 thousand years ago.

  • I have to add that according to you chalatenango234, Zeus and Thor must exist because you cannot see them

  • Why don't you get on somewhere else, roac?

You choose to be a troll, and you expect anyone to listen to you? If you have that much time to kill, there's plenty of internet porn out there, so why don't you quit harrassing people for believing different than you?

  • No I wont go elsewhere, so tough on you neighbour.

Your reasoning about how much time I have on the internet is just nonsense, I go on the internet about 1 hour a day, how long do you spend.

You may want to spend your time looking at porn I dont, seen it done that years ago.

Im not harrassing anyone, I do speak my mind, whether you like it or not

  • You speak your mind in an inappropriate forum. That's why you're a troll.

This isn't a debate forum. There are hundreds of thousands of forums you could go and debate this stuff, and it would be perfectly appropriate. Instead you choose to do it in a milieu for sharing and enjoying that which we have in common. That is harrassment. You're trying to be Sgt Buzz Killington over here, but all you really accomplish is showing yourself to be a hater.

  • If you dont like me coming onto this site thats your problem not mine.

I dont hate anyone, unless they give me cause to.

If you dont like me commenting on this site well thats just too bad, get over it

  • No it's really NOT me with the problem. See, I have a life. So that means when I go to youtube, it's to watch videos I want to watch.

Not just to make stupid insulting posts to try to make myself feel better.

I wonder if you see the irony.. That you would complain about Christians, and yet you act exactly like the Fire-and-brimstone preachers, trying to beat folks over the head with YOUR beliefs.

No one cares, and you're not adding anything to the convo.. hence you're trolling.

  • What an awful thing to say! Read 1st John and don't comment again until you do!

  • mean look at the world and all its evil where do you think it comes from..thin air....why would a world excist only discard itself from excistence...so you excist for nothing...you came you saw you did...and that is the meaning of your whole excistence....how empty

  • Don't you think it's impoverished to believe that God & Jesus don't exist because you haven't seen evidence?

Have you ever seen any kind of evidence for the life of Napoleon? I guess secondary evidence would be history books and stuff like that, but that still takes faith

In actuality, aren't we both closed-minded in some way? You are closed-minded to believing the Bible isn true, and I am closed-minded to believing that the Bible fantasy.

IMO, believing either one takes some kind of faith

  • if you understand the term "open mindedness", you will understand that it is not synonymous with gullibility. If I were to tell you that elves lived in my basement, you would be foolish not to ask for some sort of evidence.

If you believed me without such evidence, this would not make you open minded, but gullible. In gullibility lies a very evident danger.

  • @NameBrandClique God and Jesus do exist,

I have seen and have experienced with there presences...and it's a whole book and I can write them someday I HAVE heard them in my head.

  • @NameBrandClique only problem with your argument is that there is no evidence he was special or devine or whatever. all the stuff he did today i bet chris angel could easily do. hes walked on water, turned liquid into something else and mind freaked everybody, dont mean hes jesus too. see there are numerous ways we know that napoleon existed that are all normal but the only evidence is the bible which could be made up

  • @mrfitch617

Look up Flavious Josephus and Tacitus. They're 1st century famous historians who talk about JEsus.. there're many others, but they're the earliest. Of course Jewish and secular sources will give a different interpretation to Jesus (He was a sorcerer.. whatnot), but He's really the true Light that lights every man that comes into the world (the children Jn 1:9) and it's up to your to choose light or darkness (Jn 3:19).

  • what if i have a mistake but its not my fault? Am i a christian sinner? example i say bad words when I get mad at my friends but i didn't meant it.

  • I am an atheist, I think people are free to believe in whatever they want to believe. However I think it is wrong to preach that homosexuality is a sin and sex before marriage is a sin. People have the right to conduct their sex lives as they wish. Those that preach this sin doctrine are poisonous for they have no right to dictate how people should lead their sex lives.

  • I'm a Christian and I would never preach to you not to sin. That teaching is for Christians who love and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and their savior. If you don't want God in your life you don't have to accept him because you have a choice.

  • Fine Gabriel, I choose not to. But just because you believe that Jesus was a Saviour it does not mean its true

  • LOL... you're cute. That's the difference between you and me. God chose me to be one of his own. He doesn't do that for everybody! :D

  • That is arrogance Gabriel especially as he does not exist

  • When you say he doesn't exist, do you mean God, or Jesus? Because if you're referring to Jesus, there is historical and archaeological evidence of his existence. You may need to do some research roac7777.

  • this was great!!! keep ministering..God bless-Kendra

  • Wow Mark thats brilliant! I would point people still trembling from watching "Paul Washers Shocking message" straight to this!

Watch Washer's message, then watch this. If your convinced actually your not a christian, then give your life to Jesus and repent!

If you are a Christian and still sinning, get accountability. "Lone Rangers are Dead Rangers" -Josh Harris

  • Christian sinners....maybe they're just not predestined...lol

  • When you put your faith in Christ... in that moment God views you as righteous and without fault, holy. There may still be temptation to sin, but if you let him, god will change your heart and you will desire what is good and pleasing to God. Colossians 3v10, Romans 12v1-2, Philippians 1v11, Galatians 5v22-23

  • Samtorrance what do u mean " but if you let him " how can you be a christian without God changing you heart. How can I put my faith in christ but deny him the right to change my heart. What does put my faith in mean? When you are saved you become a new person and you desire God and yes you are capable of sinning but you will be convicted. There is no if ands or buts about it. We need to stop preaching a false doctrine. Mark is right in this video.

  • Well, if we know we are sinners, and choose to believe in Christ and what he did for us to be free... then we're forgiven. Once we have been forgiven we can let God transform us. Romans 12v2, Galatians 5v22-23, Colossians 3v10, Philippians 1v11, Ephesians 4v23.

  • These scriptures are talking about walking out the life that is in us. There is a major difference. When we are saved we become a new creature. Its super natural. My desire is to please God from that very moment. Now the question is how do I live out the life. How do I live the life I have been called to live and this is done by renewing my mind. God doesn't give you a new brain you have to renew it with learning the word of God. But if you dont desire God, you should check ur salvation.

  • A couple of the verses below spoke about the renewal of your mind. This is one of my favourites: "Be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him." - Colossians 3v10..... Since our relationship with God was restored by the death of Christ, we can now get to know him and live in a relationship with him, free from guilt and shame of sin, and he renews us.

  • Excellent video.

  • That is a really good question, and a decent answer.

  • Hi, can I consider myself as a better christian with only immoral sins and perfectly alright in all other parts. Please I want an answer. I forgive my enemies and I tries to love all my friends and neighbours

  • What do you mean by "better christian"? As a Christian, God will grow and mature you, rooting out more and more sin as you walk longer with him. Hopefully you are becoming better, meaning you are becoming more like Jesus day after day. However, if you mean "better Christian" as in better than other people I would caution you against being prideful. We only have faith because it was given to us as a gift from God (Ephesians 2) and all the growth we experience afterwards is only by his grace.

  • Buddy, there's no such thing as better christians, we all sin therefore we are all on the same level which is short of the glory of God. It isn't bad but it's the truth, really what you need to do is to strive to perfect those areas where you do sinb

  • I wouldn't agree with striving to perfect the areas where you do sin. I think it needs to be more about bringing that sin to light, and asking God and/or Jesus to turn your heart and to focus more on Him than on sin.

ALSO, make sure you're focused more on Christ than focusing on not sinning; it's never a good thing to focus more on sin than Christ
