Health properties aside, the most important aspect of Nama Shoyu wasn't mentioned--that it's the best-tasting soy sauce available (I've been using it since 1988).
VERY impressed to see a Robot Coupe used (although I imagine the local health dept. insists on commercial-grade equipment).
Has he ever commented on the link between soy products and memory loss/brain issues in those who consume a lot of soy products in their older age? I would try this recipe but I would use romaine lettuce for the shell. Only because I have never tried greens, it seems like the greens would have a bitter taste.
I made the raw taco and took it to work and people took a sample on it and loved it...I also bought the book Rawvolution and it is my Bible for raw food....thanks for all the great ideas
@rawkinsuperstar Those weren't soaked (I think he'd have mentioned it).
Had they been soaked (assuming they weren't and then dehydrated), the result would have been much different--more like soggy paste than chopped meat. Soaking, regardless, isn't appropriate for every seed/nut.
Dude, Rawvolution is my fav! Their onion bread is to die for. My sis lives in Santa Monica, so I spend a lot of time out there with her and we love going to Rawvolution and Juliano's... when I have moeny, that is, hah.
I am new to raw foods and slowly incorperating more raw foods into our diet. I just made these and they are wonderful!! I didn't have any collards so I used romaine hearts as the tortilla and spinach as the lettuce but next time will definatly pick up some collards...can't wait! Easy to make and easy to clean after. My 23 month old daughter loved the walnut filling as well and kept asking for more.
Rawvolution is located in Santa Monica. Glad you like the videos. We will be uploading hundreds of holistic how-to videos at GreatLiving TV. Check it out.

I hope so. I would soak them if I were to make this recipe.

Rawvolution is terrific and simple. I love the spot in Santa Monica. He should look in the camera more, he seems uncomfortable.
