In my opinion the only person that can sing "Nothing compares to you" and do it justice is Senead O'conor. Even when Prince sang it, it was a pile of crap. Sinead did a one take recording and that was it. She had never even practised/rehearsed the song before. JUst went in the studio and sang it how she felt, spot on the first time..

I would be ok as I would do it for the love of humanity. The product is easily replicated. They're not paying the instrument makers a royalty every time they use their product, neither do I see them compensating the people that made all the equipment they used every time they sell one of their songs. Pianos can be used more than once and they can also be recorded why does the piano maker only get paid once, they arent complaining. RL's just want 2 squeeze the same juice out of a smaller orange.

None of them would get through the first round of X Factor, for example although they have improved massively as individuals.
