Rad! Took lessons myself from Pat years ago! His book "Key to Five-String Banjo" changed my whole thinking about the fretboard!

This is brilliant, I have worked so hard to steal some licks, but it flies by so fast!
I realize this is an old video for Pat, but two things:
1) I'd like to see a version with the right hand too
2) A slowed down version would be awesome too for players like me
But hey, who am I to ask...it is truly a virtuoso performance!

He has a terrific instruction book called "The Key to the 5-String Banjo". It teaches how to memorize the whole fretboad, among other things.

Don't tell me that musicians now play the banjo too. LOL
I see so many guys that just memorize tune after tune. You know your instrument. Excellent.

Me and my brother recorded Pat Cloud playing Shuckin the Corn in 1968 at Fullerton College
and I've still never heard anyone play it like that! He's been playing superb for a long time.
Keep kickin it Pat!!
