@daven58100 Oh God, you're right about that. I hated that period of Miller "hits"....but I can't blame him for cranking them out. Probably put a lot of money in his pocket. I saw this guy 2 or 3 times in the early 70's....always a great concert. He'd bring out "Norton Buffalo"..haha. The guy could play harp.
The live presence but not the real atmospherics of the Sailor album with the foghorn and ship horns intro. As an ancient !? Why do U.S. folk over rate Brit bands at this time? The Beatles copied what what was going on already in Frisco when they came over to U.S. in mid 60's, Pink Floyd picked up on it as well (in the days of Syd Barrett) The engineer production and marketing was very good in London but the psych, period started in U.S. That is a Fact.
Any Help / Information Wanted re the following :
In the late '70's I saw a remarkable, hypnotic short (16 or 35 mm) film.
It showed the night lights of an airport runway, taken from the front of an unidentified airccraft.
It was set (choreographed) to the version of 'Song For Our Ancestors' from the 'Sailor' LP !
