  • Thanks man! I know what you mean for sure. Mine came with a demo video which really helped a lot. Even the word "quantize" sounds confusing. Good luck and I hope you have fun with it, It's pretty cool. :)

  • Aww Man,you make it look sooo easy!!..lol..I've had my DR-5 for awhile now & I guess I really need to sit down dig in until I understand it better...I was always stumped with the quantize feature,I didn't understand exactly how that was supposed to work..I followed the book but it never turned out right for me..

  • Jesus christ, this is fantastic.

    I'm considering getting a BOSS DR-5 now!

  • @MooseHeadMoosic Thanks man, they are a lot of fun. Like having a base player and drummer in a box, that always does what you want, can't drink your beer, and won't fuck with you.

  • I RECENTLY GOT A BOSS DR-5 BUT I HAVE NO IDEA HO TO MAKE BEATS. I CANT MAKE THEM GO IN LOOP THE ONLY THING I KNOW HOW TO DO IS LISTEN TO THE ALREADY SET BEATS HOW DO I MAKE MY OWN?

  • @koojo4321 If you have the owners manual just follow the step by step directions in the "creating patterns" section. Do the "real time write" method, not the "step write" method.... After you make a few patterns you can switch to "song" mode and connect them together to create a whole song. If you don't have the manual you can probably download it from Boss. Good luck with it dude, I'm sure you will figure it out and like it a lot.

  • I love you f..%&in guitar !!! >=(

  • @Ectura Me too, Iv'e had it for about 20 years, it just "feels good in my hands" ya know? Thanks for watching and commenting, I really appreciate it!

  • Excellent guitar......but I think I need to do a degree in IT before I will ever be able to use the drum machine. Just got one second hand....looks nice but havent a clue how to use it. Thanks for the demo.

  • @NightingaleHMP Thanks, I made this vid in 1997. I have the new Boss Dr. 880 now. I know how you feel, when I 1st got the Dr. 5, I thought I would NEVER be able to figure it out. Fortunately it came with a demo video which really helped me get started. Good luck with it, I'm sure you will figure it out and love it. It's amaseing!
