Who wins in a fight? Definitely, without a doubt, undeniably Alex. Platinumed both games, both great, equally fun, inFamous is better put together, but if it were properly executed, Prototype *could* have blown it out of the water. Again, love both games, BOTH very very much worth playing. BOTH are worthy of purchase. Not rent.

I personally like inFAMOUS more, but its possible that Alex Mercer is more powerful. But if we compare Cole from the evil ending in the second game, then Mercer will be a easy opponent for Cole.
I think they need to make a co-series out of this and make it interconsole, where u could play as either character, and be able to do online co-op, even if one is on the other console.
@GeNeStRoNg Then you must suck at that game, no offense but i have no problems with tanks. Once you have the blade or even the hammerfist drop attack they're very easy to take out. I've foundd that The blade drop attack works best. Just experiment with the powers to what works best with each kind of enemy.

You literally get juggled around by tanks, rocket fire, and attacks from the hunters. I mean the blades and hammerfists are good but its hard to use them when i'm being chased everywhere by hunters, tanks, helicopters, etc. I prefer infamous over prototype because of gameplay, graphics, and enemies but powers go to prototype in certain ways. Gets confusing with useage

Can't we all just agree that both games are good? I have them both inFAMOUS for PS3 PROTOTYPE for 360 and I like PROTOTYPE for certain things and I like inFAMOUS for certain things. @ryan215553 No... not every game needs a health bar. If you are close to death in infamous then your screen turns grey and you can wait a while until your screen goes back to normal, and keep firing. This prevents those moments you get in other games when you find yourself with one hitpoint, about to go into a room full of enemies, and because you cant kill them without getting hit, your forced to restart the level. So no, not every game needs a health bar.
My Opinion is that Prototype is way more interactive! I have not played inFamous but i find jumping on a Helicopter and highjacking it way more exciting!(Just My Opinion)

both are good, infamous has more of a challange to the gameplay in my opinion and has shinier effects, but prototype has more blood and gore and more style. infamous has style in climbing, where in prototype its awesome to glide. so they both equal out but i would declare prototype my favorite =)

If you have a PS3 get both, if you like one you'll like the other. Theres more freedom to play around in prototype but the story isnt as compelling as infamous' (prototypes story improves once its finished and you can understand events but infamous' is better whilst your playing). This video doesn't give a good gameplay comparison since the infamous footage is from a trailer trying not to spoil all his moves (and the player sucks) whereas prototype's footage is cut together from real gameplay.
most of the people who are saying that prototype is better than infamous is because they have not played both games and is mad at the fact that infamous is a playstation exclusive. if you have actually played both games you would agree that infamous is a better all around game with better graphics and better story. while prototype is a good game, it lacks in graphics, story, and is over repetitive . btw, these are two good games that were never intentioned to be compared .

I think that has better graphical viewer inFamosus from us about the flashes and lights, but has no history that has Prototype that the truth is much better and with more weight q infamosus history, then a prototype gameplay I think it better because they have better freedom of the character to do whatever his fancy, not so well infamosus variety of attacks and powers as the prototype is, and it is a bit monotonous play infamosus ... therefore, Prototype is the best choice to play .

Who wins in a fight? Definitely, without a doubt, undeniably Alex. @GeNeStRoNg Then you must suck at that game, no offense but i have no problems with tanks. Once you have the blade or even the hammerfist drop attack they're very easy to take out. I've foundd that The blade drop attack works best. Just experiment with the powers to what works best with each kind of enemy.

You literally get juggled around by tanks, rocket fire, and attacks from the hunters. I mean the blades and hammerfists are good but its hard to use them when i'm being chased everywhere by hunters, tanks, helicopters, etc. I prefer infamous over prototype because of gameplay, graphics, and enemies but powers go to prototype in certain ways. Gets confusing with useage

Can't we all just agree that both games are good? I have them both inFAMOUS for PS3 PROTOTYPE for 360 and I like PROTOTYPE for certain things and I like inFAMOUS for certain things. Can cole bio leech? what about vehicles, infected, reapers? The fight would be pretty cool, but the games are different, if its alex during cut-scenes where he's 10x stronger, cole wouldnt last long. If it was kessler, or evil cole with black and red lightning. Honestly, i think the fight would be pretty epic.

@ryan215553 No... not every game needs a health bar. If you are close to death in infamous then your screen turns grey and you can wait a while until your screen goes back to normal, and keep firing. This prevents those moments you get in other games when you find yourself with one hitpoint, about to go into a room full of enemies, and because you cant kill them without getting hit, your forced to restart the level. So no, not every game needs a health bar.

If you have a PS3 get both, if you like one you'll like the other. Theres more freedom to play around in prototype but the story isnt as compelling as infamous' (prototypes story improves once its finished and you can understand events but infamous' is better whilst your playing). This video doesn't give a good gameplay comparison since the infamous footage is from a trailer trying not to spoil all his moves (and the player sucks) whereas prototype's footage is cut together from real gameplay.

i'm still hearin alot of rumors about infamous 2 like the improved gameplay combat mechanics where cole dosn't need to recharge to use any ability and that he will have some of sessler abilities and the new final boss is the superhuman sessler talks about in part 1
