  • JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE A GOOD TECHNIQUE THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOU MUST SHOW IT EVERY TIME YOU PLAY.

THAT IS WHAT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GREAT PIANISTS AND THE REST.

  • @bazzatt1 Just because you have a Caps Lock key, it doesn't mean that you have to show it every time you post. That's what makes the difference between a good poster and the rest.

  • @spektre0 wow you pwned him

  • @bazzatt1 This means you're part of the rest of the people... Aren't youu??? Besides you're head size being bigger then a melon doens't mean you're smarter than a kid

  • Why weren't we invited to this party?

  • I believe she can play musically, but since she has extraordinary technical skill. Somehow, she is showing off this ability instead. She can play musically. I hope she will go back to a right track

  • what happened to the rest of the music??????

  • Yuja IS the modern piano. She is imo the worthiest successor of Horowitz, who was the interpreter of our/his time. Her interpretation of Scarlatti, Scriabin, Mozart Turkish March, Prokofiev is the most original since the great maestro. And remember that he was the prodigy sensation of his time. His Scriabin is the greatest ever. Hers is the most original since then..

  • Ms. Wang, please slow down, a tempo that may be appropriate in a virtuoso transcription is too fast for this sonata.

  • @rea082151 Trust me, she doesn't care about other peoples' opinions. Maybe her teachers' opinions, but not ours :)

  • @itsanthonyhere That is very unfortunate. I think my comment is right on with respect to the sonata. Her performance of it is not very musical or cerebral.

  • @rea082151 I agree, tottaly, with you...it is rather faster than was supposed to be.

  • @antoniocmteixeira I don't think it was the speed, but the pedal being too far down. Rachmaninoff recorded this Chopin sonata and his speed was about the same, but far more clear. I think she got the general idea, but acoustics or what not, pedal issues were there. Sometimes, being behind the piano, you're not really sure what the audience hears.

  • one couldn't have chosen a worse angle...

  • what are you talking about? there's an amazing view of her in the mirror!

  • hahahahahah

  • @sfd1984 u mean the reflection in the piano!? MA BOI! lololol

  • agreed....

  • beautiful! and the music's great too

  • This is great! Where is the rest of it?

  • love

  • god... so beautiful.. may i know what piece she's playing there?

  • chopin sonata n°2...

  • Shes playing Chopin sonata no 2

  • I messed up on that... she get's nothing but thumbs up! Also correction in grammar: "You play as beautifully as you look... and beyond!"

  • You are the Piano Goddess. Such power and passion in everything you play. You signed your CD pic for me in Toledo last month (Tchaikovski concerto) and I'll treasure it forever as well as our brief chat. PLEASE record everything of Chopin. You are a gift to us all. You play as beautiful as you look... and beyond!

  • Oh my god!!
