@GoliathAngelus The mascots (Mickey, Pooh, Donald, etc) usually do not speak, but the face characters (Princesses, Jack, Sally, Peter Pan, Cruella, Alice, etc) can. There have been some special events at WDW and DL where Mickey and Minnie actually talk.
