@guguigugu OH, and if you really pay attention, the amount it changes is beyond anything out there. It goes from smooth jazz to technical death metal to fusion to djent to ambient drum and bass. All in one track. I'd say it's worth another listen through.

My only dislike about this song is that it reminds me of CAFO, and the breakdown at 2:03 is soo epic that just like with CAFO's breakdown/solo at the end, I thought they were gonna play it again. I don't know how you would call this "experimental music" as it sounds like a thousand other bands out there and is not incredibly original. Maybe this was experimental in 1993 when Cynic did it but now in 2011 their album is a commonplace attempt, and frankly a pedestrian one at that.

@rufus566 I'd say this takes waaay more of a influence from bebop than Focus did. These chord progressions just scream John Coltrane to me. Cynics don't.
